I feel like Skeletons will be more useful in the long especially if you can constantly have a group of them. As for the ults the poison nova seems way better while frost mages are still kind of shit unless you are chasing the enemy.

New Xul is a fucking beastly lane bully, jesus.

They actually made good ult upgrades, too. Echoes of Death means Mortal Wound can hit a FUCKTON of heroes now, no more heals ever at 20 AND you get level 16 bonespear for more poke that.

Skeleton build is brutal if anyone attempts to fight you in lane, still gets fucked by AoE but the damage/heals make him stupid good again.

They'll probably reduce numbers here and there a bit, like the Poison Nova heal is probably too much, but this looks very good since he won't have to sacrifice lane push to teamfight so much, and either way is still very good at the other.

You have to go the fuck in and not be a pussy. Doesn't matter if you die really if you get value. It's weird to play at first because most dps you want to focus a single sqauishy. With malth you want to click their biggest tank first then anyone else. Use your shroud to get many people in teamfights and teleport to minimize the damage youre taking (since youre in the middle of enemies most of the time. Use your q to sustain yourself for as long as possible. Escape is usually not an option

Not explained in the talent, the swipe upgrade reduces mana to 50 AND CD of your individual charges from 80 down to 40. I feel this is important information not being shown, the ult+talent are definitely better than they seem despite their imposing CD in comparison to shove.

Yeah, he actually feels good now. Summons are still restricted to lanes, but he's pretty oppressive in there.
That said, full W build is literally a an unkillable blender with no CD on W at all that heals himself a fuckton while dishing out good damage, the Fartcloud upgrade pretty much turns him into Malthael 2.0 with the sustain, though that one's harder to stop with Q needing a silence or a stun + he's got armor, while Xul has RIDICULOUS self heal if he's hitting multiple targets with W and R, but can be shut down by a single imposing or blind.

He's also a lot faster at solo pushing a fort down since the increased attack speed talent more or less doubles his AA speed for 7 seconds, and triple Scythes is super strong poke against any structures.

he feels like hes built around "huge but slow" and sheer burst; his attack is a massive smash but so fucking slow it balances out, his healing is a massive pop but he needs to use his 16cd trait for it, lurking arm feels balanced by its small radius and his immobility

overall hes got big numbers but hes so burst-nothing-burst-nothing that i think he'll be pretty strong but not malth tier op

also 20cd on giga hyper ultra deluxe fuck-you megashove turbo deluxe arcade edition really isnt that bad because it feels like a low impact ult ala stuff like lunara's vines, its entirely possible to fuck it up and achieve nothing but a short stun and even when you knock someone 4 screens away you really aren't hurting/impeding them THAT much, its not nearly the level of teamfight removal as anubarak's fuccocoon

overall im pleased with him and will probably make him my second go to healer after auriel

Xul was alright, he had a pretty okay niche. New Xul is a fucking *MONSTER*.

Shackler + grim scythe + trag'ouls + skeleton mages + rapid harvest + corpse explosion + whatever at level 20. You have absurd lanepush, you'll reset your W as it finishes cooldown on 3+ targets, you have absurd ability to reset your shield, you can sustain for fucking ever in lanes, you destroy sapper and bruiser camps in 5 seconds flat (that isnt a fucking joke, you hit W and cleave them to death).

You're decent-ish in teamfights and you just bring the smack down on anything.

Self heal on Poison Nova is super strong though.
Honestly think they'll tune down the extra attack speed or make it more difficult to ramp up, cleaving through a bruiser camp solo in like 8 seconds, even if you lose 1/3 of your health, with a single talent choice invested that ALSO brings very good teamfight/wavepush is a bit too strong in comparison to the other talents. Q build is still an option worth considering, but Executioner falls a bit flat I think.
Should've just given him Poison Dagger: AAs also apply a Dot 60 damage over 3 seconds any damage by Xul reapplies the dot, fits the Poisonmancer fantasy with synergy between poison skills and is an ok alternative to Executioner even if DPS is lower.

Okay nvm, skellies heal slightly less than your average harvest vital does when it's active but they do it constantly, passively on the player's part, and have no cool down. Xul is basically regenerating nonstop now. Anyone who tries to go W build instead of skelly healing is a fool. Posion nova is still king however, fuck skelly mages.

Problem there is that sometimes Specialists are okay in a teamfight against certain comps. So it's kind of down to who you're playing as. Azmodan for instance with his healthpool, healing laser and heroic and the fact that he can dunk fleeing enemies from miles away if they aren't smart makes him pretty decent.

Conversely, WTF are you doing here Sylvanus. Go murder towers. Zagara's kind of an edge case, up against squishies and with that one Hydralisk talent she can sometimes suprise people and her second heroic can just stop a teamfight cold, but generally speaking if there's a teamfight going on, you want to be on the other side of map killing objectives.

It doesn't help that not every Specialist is a Push Specialist, which can make some heroes kind of opaque to get to grips with.
Like, what is Murky's role? I use it to kill entire teams and become the destroy of mens souls, and immortal menace that can only be delayed, never stopped a terror of man and beast.
But that's just me and my slime build.

I feel like they have too many talents which make skeletons more useful, but it's incredibly odd considering he requires Jailors to spawn relevant skeletons in the first place. I feel like he should spawn 1-2 skeletons every time he uses Bone Prison and Bone Shield or something.
