I'll never understand this. Uther was mana thirsty as fuck BEFORE the rework, now without Conjurer's Pursuit he has no reliable means to sustain his mana pool unless he wants to put himself clear out the fuck in front as a goddamn healer. Sure, his heals are big bombs but you can literally play around this with poke damage (which he has no reliable means to recover from) against 2 targets. Whoever he doesn't heal is immediately your kill target and there's fuckall he can do about it. People sing Uther's praises but I honestly just don't see it and this is coming from someone that LOVED pre-rework Uther.

W quest at 1 makes it so he has practically no cooldown with his W, and almost no cost as the game goes on.
But even if you're only hitting it every so often that's 25% damage reduction for 2 seconds (3 once the quest is complete) after any heal, effectively giving himself and his allies a fuckton more health.
With GoAK it's 50% DR.

Uther is first pick because either your opponent gets proper fucked by not picking around him, or they pick around him by not taking stuns/roots, which enables far more greedy heroes for your team.
