The issue isn't so much that someone gets stuck in the Ryoma room as it is that the 4 units on the outside all have very protected positions that have easy access to attacking your team on their terms. Remember this is Tempest so spawns are random. A mounted mage on any of those 4 slots would be painful.

I still don't like that it's always Fates and Awakening that cleans up, while everyone else takes the sidelines. We've had exceptions during the gauntlets, sure, but nuFE always wins in the end due to how baby-blendingly popular they are and how much exposure they have to the Heroes audience.

It's not even remotely fair, and I really wish IS would stop pretending it is. I'm dead serious when I say that an Echoes character could potentially do well due to them having modern exposure, just like how Ike or Roy could do well due to having been in Smash for so long, but IS will always ignore them in favor of just shoveling Fates/Awakening characters in for free wins.
