she can play either way. she's a versatile character. watch jdcr play her turtle style and the nwatch go attack play her all-in rushdown. she has fast moves and some have long recovery, but those are usually long reaching moves. she has a crapton of options and mixup possibilities, so you can experiment to see what moves you want to use or watch good raven players and try to emulate what they do.

It's basically impossible to learn the Eddy and Xiaoyu match-ups by simply playing against them a lot. The only way to learn how to deal with them is to grind out each of their strings in practice mode.

This is why Eddy/Xiaoyu spammers do so well online.

You have to individually test each of your moves against Eddy's relaxed stance.

One tip that I've always been told about Eddy is that you should always step right against his relaxed stance. It causes a lot of his launchers and shit to whiff or otherwise not launch correctly.

You're right that you can only buffer the first forward input, but it really doesn't matter. The ff+4 pickup isn't frame perfect in the slightest. Even with random CH on and without buffering ff+4, I can still hit this. Does that mean I can hit it in a real match? I don't know, but if you throw out b+1 you should always be expecting a CH just in case.

If it's really that big of a bother, just do another combo, you can still get to 70 without that link.

For me a CH b+1 isn't exceptionally common. I use
CH b+1; b+2,1,4 s! b+3~f+2,1 = 68 dmg
or CH b+1; db+2; 2; b+2,4 S! b+3~f+2,1 = 67 dmg if I know I'm slow.

I know Kane likes to use CH b+1; JU; qcb+2,4 S! dash b+3~f+2,1 = 72 dmg
