if you've got people to play with you can gear up pretty quickly through spamming mythics, though I'm casual as fuck and managed to get to get 890 in a couple of days just playing solo in the broken shore + world quests and a bit of LFG
getting caught up on AP doesn't seem to take too long now as well, especially if you had another character with 30 AK so you can get the insta-25AK item to send over and get your rank 26 quest straight away, though either way it's reasonably quick since each level is only a couple of hours now and once you get to AK40 you get up to ~50 points pretty quickly from just doing the same stuff.

The reason why night elves aren't hated on is because they don't perfectly showcase all of these issues. While they may be prevalent among Night Elves, the issues are found across other Alliance races like Humans (most popular, slutmogs, egos, etc) or Draenei (the race with the highest female percentage in the game, slutmogs).

Oh yeah, vanilla had some serious issues. I'd remember a third of the raid occasionally freezing up when entering C'thun's room and getting chain lazered before they could do anything.

Some of the issues weren't limited to optimization, Anub'Rekhan was a horrible nightmare because sometimes when he'd knockup the tank, the timing would line up where his melee would be when the tank was at the apex of the knockup. The result was Anub doing the evade bug and getting all of his life back. Had it happen twice in one encounter before.

Vanilla had some really odd shit.

It was pretty braindead in WOD: Keep Shuffle on (you barely had to even glance at the buff after you got it to a minute+), clear Stagger when it turned red (or just yellow if you weren't seeing red at all) and save the bubbles for big whammo attacks

It's actually involving now that you actually have to juggle the Brews between maintaining the buff and slashing the stagger, and you don't have an 'Oh shit' bubble every half a minute

Tanking is a fucking joke, it's like they make a boss, give it mechanics for the dps to handle, throw in unavoidable aoe so the healers don't fall asleep and when they remember that tanks are still in the game just make a debuff or timer that tells you when to press taunt.

I am playing Priest for the first time. Is there any point to using Shadow Word: Pain outside dungeons?
It really doesn't seem like that useful of a spell since NPCs rarely survive for more than 18 sec. It's usually much better to simply mind blast them to build up insanity and then kill everything in Void Form.

Why is the inspect function such a shitshow?

Half the time it doesn't work, it frequently bugs out and stops showing tooltips, , or stops working altogether if the player moves away from you. What is the deal with this shit.
