if they improve the gameplay, add more scenes and slice of life stuff with the companions, improve the imersion in act 1 and fix the pacing and add more story in act3, it would be one of the best wRpg made.

but in the end, the main story can't change much so it would be the same stuff for some people who already played it before and it's best for the franchise to get a better grounding and try to get more popular moving foward with the story than rehash old content.

Maybe in some far future this remaster could happen and have the public to consume it, but now it would just fail commercially.

He still hates the thought of slavery, period. He prompts Dorian to fight to free all the slaves, of every race, in Tevinter. He hates the Qun because it's basically slavery, when teached like the triumviate teaches it, and he approves of Bull when he finds the strength to become Tal-Vashoth and finally be free. He approves when the Inquisitor frees the mages and he feels pity and guilt towards the Dalish and the elves rotting in the alienages.

He even promises the Inquisitor that he will fight the Qun to ensure the freedom of Thedas before the Veil falls down. Of course this only happens if you are his friend/his lover, otherwise he doesn't give a shit, but if you help him realize that modern Thedas is real, then he cares a lot. That's why he's so torn in the end.

The Elven Orb seems to be underwater and Mythal allegedly is tied to water/sea. Maybe that has something to do with it or it might be a way to represent lyrium, but we can't really speculate more than this, it's already reading too far into it.

After its very underwhelming launch and a general disinterest from players, do you think it would be true to say that Mass Effect has given the flagship title status of Bioware to Dragon Age now?

What do people mean when they say "DRAGON AGE INQUISITION IS JUST LIKE A SINGLE-PLAYER MMO"?

What do they mean by this? the quests? the combat? When thinking of a really well-received RPG released this gen or last gen, I think of Dragon's Dogma. But that game is littered with "Kill X amount of enemy", "Gather X number of items", and even literally "Just walk to X location" quests. Combat is pretty spammy like an MMO and based on your level and equipment. You will get your shit stomped early in the game if you try to fight human bandits because they take off a giant chunk of your life per hit while you barely scratch them. The only thing that makes it easier is that your damage and your defenses increase from leveling up.

What exactly does DA:I do to warrant the IT'S JUST A SINGLEPLAYER MMO treatment that other RPG's don't get?

Yes, as is the distinction between the situations in which conscripted mages and templars each find themselves. Like I said, in the case of the mages, they've been under someone's thumb up to this point and they lack outside support, so it's a lot harder for them to declare themselves free after their purpose with the Inquisition is served. Disbanding the templars is different because, while their freedom is limited by whoever supplies them with lyrium, they have the respect and support of the people and historically hold a position of power, so they could more easily say they're leaving the Inquisition and/or going back to the Chantry and there wouldn't be as much stigma involved. They're both being conscripted, but the aftermath means something very different for both groups.

But really the reason Solas approves of conscripting the templars is because A) he's biased against them due to them benefitting from a skewed status quo and B) Bioware needed to have one option that makes your party members react one way and one option that does the opposite.

You are not thinking correctly. A very small group of RPG lovers like Dragon's Dogma, majority of the people like it for the fun combat. A good example of a next-gen RPG would be the Witcher 3!

People say Inquisition is a single-player MMO because of the massive amount of grinding side-quests with no story attached to them (close rifts/collect that, collect this/establish camps), huge maps that are a chore to explore, randomized loot-system, health-sponge enemies, War-room missions timer, gathering Elfroot/Ores every 2 minutes, etc.

There was a registered civil union which allowed a partner to adopt the other's child and become thus the legal guardian as well, but politicians really got their knickers in a twist about declaring it "marriage" and allowing the adoption of non-blood related children.
