Yea it does work on PC, just plug in and it works. The artwork is pretty easy to remove and I am pretty sure there are guides on how to make your own custom artwork for it (although I have never done it myself)
I got mine around when MvC3 came out and it still works like a charm after replacing the stick and buttons so it was a pretty good deal.

If you're new to fighting games, I wouldn't recommend it. If you're only new to Tekken, I think it can be good to learn multiple characters, depending on your goals.
If your goal is to win, I think the odds are that you'll end up with two characters that are mediocre at worst and solid (but not exemplary) at best. It would be better to focus on one for a few months and then try to play someone new. If your goal is to have fun and learn the Tekken system as a whole, go for it.
If you practice in a smart and effective way, you shouldn't have too many issues with muscle memory but there will be times where you do a fucked up combo or string because you're in the wrong headspace. Really though, just give it a shot for a week or two and see how it feels. If you're uncomfortable more often than not, just go back to focusing on one for awhile.

A couple of gripes.

I have been watching Aris since the first EWGFridays stream (that's around 2010). I actually found out about it on his website, which I frequented for Tekken news.

I used to be a regular on his stream until around early 2015, that's when all the pandering started happening. It was mild at first, there is nothing wrong with warning people to not refer to others as "faggot" or "retard" in the chat. But it started getting cancerous pretty quick. Aris is still entertaining and original most of the time, but when he starts spewing his tired "memes" (putting "Lord" in front of every word; hotdog bullshit (can't really blame him for this one, every streamer has some dumb gimmick event after people subscribe); stoners-cops remarks, etc.) it just comes off as forced. Yes, calling someone Lord inappropriately was amusing. For the first 3 times. But when you keep saying the same thing for a year... it's just disappointing. I still like the guy, and I think he can be pretty fun to watch. He just gravitated away from what I originally liked about him, though I can understand his motive to do so.

The chat used to be the best part of his streams, with legit fighting game players talking shit and discussing strats. Now it's easily the worst: sheep mentality, SJWs and just plain dumb children that have no idea what they are talking about. There are clever people in chat, most definitely, but their comments get washed away by shit and hotdogs.
