Even at high level, almost no one can block lows on reaction. It's mostly a combination of hard reads and fuzzy guard. Throws, I have no idea. Some people can break them almost 100%, probably precognition? Seeing into the future is an integral part of many sports.

As for sidestepping, Tekken 7 is functionally a 2d game. All movement is all but aesthetic except kbd. It sucks. Play Tekken 3 instead.

Next would be Yoshimitsu for obvious reasons. I'm pretty sure he's actually stronger than the Mishima's.
Master Raven, not exactly sure how she would lose a real fight against one of them. Not only is she an assassin but the bitch can teleport and is extremely agile. Similar to Yoshi she just seems next-level.
Kunimitsu is also worth noting here for similar reasons as Raven/Yoshi.

There's also Angel, who, even though we don't really know she about, it's clear she's extremely strong and god-like. She'd probably have no trouble beating a Mishima.

For most moves you'd need to know visually but majority of jabs, and f 1/2, or f F 1/2 are sidestepable, though note follow up moves to linear moves sometimes track.

In all honesty T7 is prime to have legacy costume packs for characters as DLC. It's one way to get the game supported long into the future after the first season ends. The more content it has the longer it's life will be on the shelf.

he needs plus frames when he goes into flamingo because he cannot block during the stances. even then, if you ever block literally anything into flamingo, you can ALWAYS down jab. he runs up and does 1,2 into flamingo and you blocked the 1,2? down jab. every time. how does this get blown up? he does 1,2,f+3, which is not even a combo and the f+3 does pitiful damage and doesn't even knockdown. you lose little while shutting down autopilot.

if you're getting memed on by the exact same mid flamingo kick over and over, you just sidewalk it. to cover more options, side walk to your left. if you get hit by basically anything into flamingo, you have to respect it or try to backdash or low parry or even try to down jab if you really want him off you.

it's tricky at first, but when you break it down, you realize how easy it is to shut down lots of his offense and he really has to work slowly to break down your defense especially if you have good movement to compliment it all.

Okay when you're playing a character you do moves on the controls that don't necessarily mean that limb will go in that direction (example Master Raven D/F3 kicks high in the air). With Lars if you push in a direction and press a button, that limb will go in that direction (for most of his moves). This is why he's easy to grasp.

The way I do it is that I start to press 2 when I hit down, by the time I actually hit the button I'm hitting d/f. It works far more consistently than anything else I've tried. Don't worry too much about electrics anyways, treat them as a nice surprise until you get better.

Knowing a character moves is a barrier to fighting competently though and every character has their own level of complexity, some more so that others. With Lars you don't have to think about that, all you have to do is push in that direction and press a button and he will attack in that direction. Lars is a character where you don't have to know his moves, just have a basic understanding of the fundamentals.

I have a stick because I played a lot of soul cal and street in the 2000s but i'm quite rusty with it.

I'd say Miguel, Jack, Paul or Kazumi. I feel like all three of them won't really teach you any crippling habits. I'm sure I'm missing a few, but these are some of the only characters that I play, besides Mishimas.

Been messing with Lee in practice and I've noticed some special properties of his b,1,1,2 string. Sometimes it comes out as a normal attack and at seemingly random times it finishes with a more powerful 2 punch that causes knockdown. I've also found I can pretty much guarantee it to come out in its more powerful knockdown version If I hold back instead of tapping it. How come this isn't in his command list?

It's counter damage. All characters have this. To give you an example to try out, go to practice and pick Kazuya. Do a d/f 2 and then try a WS (while standing which means while your character is rising) and press 2. It's the same move as the d/f 2 but the WS version does counter damage stun animation.

Depends on which limb side got parried. Left side limbs: (1 and 3 attacks) you chicken with f+1+3.

Right side lims: (2 and 4 attacks) you chicken with f+2+4.

Keep in mind that you can buffer the input, you don't have to do it on reaction, and also remember that not every parry can be chickened.
