You should level SCH. People are bitching about it now, but they'll come to their senses when they realize their thing stacks with Battle Litany. So you will be both desired and uncommon.

2) Doesn't really matter. All content outside of fates and hunts are locked behind instances, so you can play with friends so long as they're in your data cluster.

If you're RNG'ing on a blank board, it's 10.6% chance of getting a "winnable" 2 line map, then it's a 50%-ish chance from there.

WHM is boring at the start but gets better after level 45 as you get lots of damage (holy, then assize then stone IV). The amount of ogcds allow whm to stay active at any time, it's a really good all around healer and it feels great to land 10k assize/stone IVs

AST is boring overall because you have literally 2 dps skills so unless you're doing heavy healing you're mashing the same button non stop. Cards are ok but they can be annoying if you don't get the ones you want (arrow/balance).
They supposedly heal more than WHM and shield more than SCH but their lack of ogcds make them a bit awkward to play on heavy damage situations.

SCH is the between and similar to whm when it comes to being active, similar amount of gcds and fairy allows sch to be active long enough as she heals as needed. Haven't played it on SB yet to know how bad it is after the nerfs but its an ok job.

Mateus was the smallest server for a long time but that might've changed now, it's been growing steadily as many Balmung players frustrated with the queues and server lock have since designated Mateus as the backup rp server of sorts. The reason I distinguished between the two of them is simply your ping to the data center, but if that doesn't matter too much to you then either is fine, but I'm on mateus, and a more xivg players have been coming here.

I have no idea how to do the free server transfer, I assume it's on the mogstation and you have to follow the transfer protocol as if you were transferring anywhere else save for a few special permits they give you.

sorry it's pretty difficult to help without knowing exactly what you want, mateus has housing and apartments still available if that means anything, simply just erp is hard to go off
