Whether it's 2h Swords, 2h Axes, 2h Maces or Polearms, Recount has consistently parsed me at a combined 45% dodge/parry/miss rate against mobs that are equal or lesser level. It IMMEDIATELY disappears the instant I put on a 1h + Shield.

Weapon skills in each are 300. What in the fuck is going on? There's no way I'm the most consistently unlucky person on the server. It's been this way since the very first 2h I equipped.

Longsword has 138-207 range, 59.5 dps and 2.90 speed.
Swiftblade's average damage will be 107, Longsword's average damage will be 172.5.
Assume 1400 AP for easy calculations and you get:
107+(2.4*1400/14)=347 for swiftblade
172.5+(2.4*1400/14)=415.5 for longsword.

So yes weapon speed matters.
