Its only bad when they go first and nutdraw on the ramp/curve, otherwise I tend to steamroll them with aggro decks. A turn 1 quickblader can get in like 3-4 damage alone depending on what their curve is.

Honestly, after Daria, I didn't think this game could possibly get any worse. I just assumed it was a fluke, and they accidentally overbuffed Rune in order to appease the fans of that class.

But this meta is so shitty, I can't even be bothered to earn 300 points for an extra pack. It's just the same thing every single duel. Just Shadow and Dragon with the exact same cards and the exact same curve every time. And the icing on the cake is when the Dshitters appear and play with themselves for 5 minutes. There's absolutely no diversity, and no thought goes into any game. I might as well be playing against alone since I can call out every single move my opponent is going to do before they do it, and I just have to watch as they win by being as predictable as possible. I don't understand how a game so new and with so much potential could tank in quality and fun so quickly.

Dragon isn't really cancer, dragon is popular in tournaments because it's strong vs Midshadow. It's really a T2 counter to The T1 of Shadow. But it's hard to consider it really broken in tournaments when it loses hard to popular decks like kys and Aegis.

Yeah, sure, it sucks when they nut and ramp on curve, but like D-Shift they have to sacrifice a lot of tempo to do so. That's the whole reason sibyl has that stipulation of turn 5 or later - it's so you can get in their face and do damage.

If dragon is really bothering you so much, there's a lot of simple tech that makes a world of difference. Banish/transforms if you're playing control and more powerful removal as aggro, because the only tool they really have there is Rahab. Compared to Shadow, where there's really no tech that'll save you from the anus-pounding of Eachtar.

Dragon is a problem for most classes because Ouroboros.
The most popular sword and forest decks don't use Odin or Lily. If dragon ramps ramps ramps and plays Ouroboros when his opponent is at 5 pp, there's not much you can do because Ouro gives infinite value and you can't just ignore it because of all the huge storm bodies Dragon can shit out.
When I play sword, Ouro is an instant loss. If I ignore it, Dragon plays Grimnir and deals 12 damage to face and finishes me off with Genesis. If I remove Ouro, it heals dragon out of Albert lethal, and there goes your wincon.
Just because you have to think a little bit more now you don't have Lightning Blast to bail you out of any situation doesn't mean Dragon is a fair and balanced class.

Just got into top 1000, climbed with a mix of Daria, Saha Ramp, Eachtar, Kys, and Pepe and I have to say especially at higher ranks, Dragon really isn't that good. And Storm Drag deals fine with Aegis but sucks Vs Eachtar, while Saha Package deals with Eachtar but sucks vs Aegis.

Compared to playing Eachtar, where it almost feels like I was handed free wins whenever I wasn't in a mirror match or fighting dragon, Dragon is a lot weaker. Hell, so is Kys blood. I'd rather say that Eachtar is T0, and Drag and Blood are T1 to T2 or something like that, that's how oppressive Eachtar can be.

Dragon can't really be called T1 because it has a bad matchup vs almost every aggro deck, especially aggro sword I find. A strong quickblader - palace - fencer curve into FF or Jeno and Albert is almost impossible to recover from, regardless of T3 Rahab.

I'm not saying it's not strong. It's very strong in the meta, since as everyone adapts slower gameplans to deal with Eachtar, they become prey for ramp. But T1 by definition is meta-defining, not a reaction to the Meta. Decks like Nep and Csword had decent winrates because they countered Daria in RoB, but they couldn't really be called top-tier because the moment Daria left the scene they became irrelevant.

Her very nature is anti-tempo. That's kind of the point of the card. Dragon usually doesn't have any good 1-2 Drops so generally she ends up being a dropped alone, floating some mana, basically a 6 mana or 7 mana 4/5 with those bullshit effects - Still a strong card, but think of it that way and she feels more balanced. Ironically she's more powerful they worse you're doing as dragon.

Really, the meta has kind of become ruled by Eachtar, and all the other good decks are specifically designed to target Eachtar. Or target decks that target Eachtar.

If Eachtar gets nerfed, and aggro has a chance to shine again, as I presume it will in WoD, Ramp dragon will fall like a brick. If midrange stays strong, or control gets strong, like Cthulhu, then Dragon will stay strong. Simple as that.

The core premise isn't really cancerous, it's just that it's in a specific environment that favors it, unlike Eachtar, which defines the environment.

Ramp Drag has something like a 50-52% WR now. That's pretty balanced, especially as Eachtar is eyeing 60%.

As for most played, D-Shift has always been popular but never anything over 50% WR. Some decks are just fun for most people, and there's always going to be a lot of Timmy's out there.

Have you played dragon? What draw engine is there? Fervor is it, and in that case you could say the same about Sword - actually, sword has more between the maid leader tutoring and AB.
As for heals, I rather like that angle. It builds on the popularity of the Sahaluci build in RoB, which I was a fan of, and takes somethings players invented as part of the class identity.

But dragon doesn't have board flood, it doesn't have tutoring, it doesn't have reliable wincons or any of that. The idea behind the deck is to clear and to ramp your way to victory while sucking at establishing tempo. I mean, there's ways to play around that sort of thing with any deck.

That's simply not True. There's a reason all of dragon's lategame cards are neutral - most of their own are really bad in terms of value.

Again, I'm not saying Csword is terribly strong, but it is far more consistent and tools like Luminous and FG can really screw with Dragon's momentum.

But in terms of outvalue, a single roland turns a 9/11 genesis into 4 attack. A Tsubaki kills 10 mana worth of stats and leaves a 4/3 ambush. That's amazing value. No deck in the game gets as much value, at its peak, than CSword. Cept for maybe suicide blood. That's the strength of the deck. The weakness is everything else.
