Okay, I've got a question. What the fuck are Terumi's attacks made of? The knee-jerk reaction to that would be seithr, but what else could it be? At this point we know that Terumi is the original "Will" that manifested in the Susano'o unit. Basically, he was what happened when that "God" finally developed sapience. This could have some bearing on what the fuck that shit is since the original function and primary ability of the Susano'o unit is to "cut" time without creating paradoxes. That weird green shit doesn't go away when he reenters the unit, and instead it intensifies. This would indicate that whatever the hell it is it's supposed to be relevant to the function of cutting time. With this in mind it should also be noted that shit he kills while he's SUSAN is basically erased from existence. There are a few things he's been shown to be able to do that indicate some series seithr manipulation (I.E. "eating" Jin's memories), but at the same time he's one of the three "God" units so he's fucking with the very fabric of existence whenever he does his thing. He could either be using seithr or just reality warping of some kind.

Another possibility that occurred to me is that he's somehow connected to "Darkness" which as we know is one of the primary origins that make up existence. We have almost no knowledge on what "Darkness" actually is, but it does fall under "The Logic" which means it shouldn't be able to harm the Black Beast which he should be able to do. Guys, I'm confused as fuck. What do you guys think?

in terms of gameplay mechanics, CPEX isn't THAT different from CF in terms of the general feel tbqh (but CT and CSE are and much worse, so avoid them). Still, getting CF is easily the best and recommended option of course (there are new characters and system mechanics)

that's not the case at all. Well when BB first came out sure it was kinda seen as a spiritual successor to GG because at the time there was a real risk of GG being dead forever (cause ArcSys had literally lost the rights to the franchise)

but even back then the two games played differently. And after each installment BB kept changing even more into its own thing. Nowadays the franchises play extremely different. You might prefer one or the other, but there's no such case of "it's the same but better"

not gonna go in depth cause you can find many breakdowns of the differences between BB/GG easily on google (and also my experience with Rev/Rev2 is extremely limited), so I'm just gonna tell you what I think is the biggest difference in how they play and feel

GG focus heavily on okizeme (basically pressure on wakeup). If you get knocked down your options to get up are limited and you're kinda forced to eat pressure and mixups. You might get up and have a lingering multi-hit projectile waiting for you and forcing you to block, which allows your opponent to come in for free and keep his pressure. There's a lot of setplay involved, but what summarizes it all is that okizeme is strong af.

compared to that oki in BB is much weaker (it's always been like that, specifically addressing complaints from players who felt oki was too strong). You have more options to get off the ground and okizeme isn't nearly as consistent. So you generally see more of the characters moving around the stages (which are larger than in GG btw) trying to get in and start pressure with whatever tools they have. Pressure and mixups are also very strong in BB, but no focused on wakeup situations

the drive mechanic is also a big difference. While in GG things are generally more standardized with punch, kick, dust etc, in BB the drive button is a wild card, serving completely different functions for each character giving them unique tools. On the one hand, it makes each character more unique, on the other it can lead to balance issues (especially when we're talking about overdrives, because some of them are just way stronger than others)

universal system mechanics are also very different, but there's tons of them and I'm too lazy to go over this shit rn
