What's more useful for a IG that I want to use against any monster: Blast or Poison?

I honestly think they will never make good on 4s mobility concept mainly because of the sheer ambition they had originally.
That and it could easy change the way the game is played negatively if they aren't extremely careful.
Swimming could reach its full potential but capcom is too much of a pussy to try it.

I know people are going to jump on me for saying so, but I'd really like to see MHW go all-out in trying to achieve some of those ambitions. A "dynamic, living world" where the player is the guest of honor is a neato concept for sure, but in games like that the fun usually is in the form of witnessing the TECHNOLOGY at work. Once that initial wonderment and awe is gone it all becomes very routine, and if you've been playing video games for any decent period of time then you can easily start seeing behind the curtain and you loose immersion-- doubly so if you didn't care about it in the first place.

I'm imagining a perfect, wonderful timeline where we get frequent updates with new maps, hunts, and monsters. Maybe they bring back underwater maps in the form of DLC where you gotta get SCUBA gear, or add new ones you can gain access too after a certain rank or can stumble into on your own, or plop in the arena at some point and start porting over monsters from other games that would otherwise seem out of place. Enough varied content for everyone to enjoy, no matter how you want to play or what kind of player you are

It's just that a part of me knows it's so horribly useless to wish for a good game instead of set myself up for disappointment, and that the safer bet is to buckle up and prepare to get assmad that for the umpteenth time the game I bought was a big pile of shit

Opens the door for more water monster designs and actually fighting water monsters in water. The 6DOF-style nature of underwater movement plus unique physics and so on offer an excuse to implement a whole new set of moves and shake up familiar mechanics.

Actually really looking forward to seamless maps. Nothing is more annoying than fighting a monster near a zone exit and accidentally switching zones. Or god forbid the monster just sits there exhausted and out of breath but you can't go over and beat the shit out of it without switching zones. Transmog is good and making compromises between stats/looks is just bad game design that grandpas latch onto purely for dogmatic reasons
Arts/Styles aren't perfect right now but they breathed much needed variety into hunts.
The Fated Five showed that good designs do not need to be ecologically relevant like Tri's monsters.
Ledges aren't bad if half of them could be destroyed by monster attacks somehow. But thanks to 3DS limitations, Capcom cant be arsed to put more environmental destruction in XX.
It was always mainline's destiny to become Alt-Frontier, and Worlds is a desperate attempt to delay the inevitable.
