And yeah DM eats some ults, but a decent sum of those which are affects are past a 4 second mark so you lose a chunk but not the whole thing, which really you shouldn't be blowing out unless you know she wont be there to interrupt it in her big old robot. Its like popping a visor in front of a shielding Rein and shooting the shield going "WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING?" instead of trying to flank behind him or waiting until the obstacle of a class role is taken care of.

Orisa seems more played now than usual. Her barrier downtime is almost non existent. Reaper is now unkillable vs Tanks and in team fights vs all other dps will never die 1v1 or 2v1. He can invul away and at full 250 health and his new heal he's going to force 300+ dmg to kill.

He's now a must pick for death ball strats as he can easily run in and shoot and heal at same time then go invulnerable back up and let rest of team continue to dive then reaper can come in behind them and still help. He gets full health and then his ult makes him even harder to kill healing through dmg.

They required a kill in order to get sustain. Issue is, if you can be knocking people down that easily you have the momentum to punch a hole in their team without the orbs - they're nice but weren't vital in the situation where they would appear in the first place. And when you actually need that sustain, fighting a tough enemy that isn't going down easily, you're not gonna have those orbs. When you need it most, there's gonna be nothing for you.
Lifesteal allows him to enter much more dangerous situations and have a chance of surviving. If he's doing max damage, he heals himself at a rate of 56 HPS - that's almost as much as a pocket mercy (which heals at 60 HPS).
This gives WAY more versatility. The life orbs were, even in isolation, something that was situational at best; this is a proper sustain tool.

I'm judging torb on his own merits in his own game. He's not very good against good players and as you increase in SR he becomes less effective. Being an armor dispenser is a great utility but no one is getting killed by that turret unless a 12 HP tracer is trying to escape from overextending.

When the games base design is FPS and you have a handful of characters that arent based in that genre that kind of need to be played for a working team it really doesnt matter how you fix the individual problems of the game.

His health is shit because his head hitbox is fused into his torso so he is D.Va level easy to crit with a third of the health. They should reduce Torbjorn's critbox to just his forehead or at least let him start with armor.

Honestly Torbjorn's problem is that there's too much shit that can take his turret out and the Level 1 turret is useless. They need to just get rid of the level 1 turret and make it so the level 2 turret is the default turret, have the level 3 turret be buildable outside of Molten Core and just have it cost scrap or some shit. Molten Core will be even scarier because if they destroy your turret you can then instantly put down a turret that turns into the fully upgraded one(although it would go back to normal once it was over like it does now) giving Torb massive burst power as he'd basically become two insanely powerful characters. Of course you could then reduce the time of his ult to balance it out, to like 10 seconds or something.

You play comp to be paired with people who are actually close to you in skill. I've found in QP you get a much wider skill spread. Also, in comp the stakes seem higher so when you win you get a better high and when you lose it makes you want to win more than in qp

Steadily increasing as cyber tech becomes more common but I was counting losing multiple limbs and getting metal legs etc as an equivalent. The point being that losing half of your body and having to recover form that is not uncommon or interesting in comparison to many of the other chars in the game.

Hey guys, Jeff here. So how're you all liking the new map, Horizon Lunar Colony? We've heard how much you guys enjoy 2cp, though personally I only like 2/3rds of it, if you get what I mean. We tried to keep as much of the 2cp experience as possible in this new map, but added new a sick new feature, there's as much dead space on the map as Volskaya, Hanamura, and anubis COMBINED! The classic 2cp experience- delaying with certain heroes, losing in an instant, 2choke- all are preserved in this new map. Hope you all enjoy!

Therefore, when you decide to play Overwatch, you accept that you are just wasting your time. By playing Quick Play, you're not gaining anything from this loss of time, besides potential fun. But in Competitive there is something more on the line besides losing time, which gives people a reason to take the game seriously.
Nobody playing Overwatch cares about losing their time, but most people that play Competitive care about losing their SR. I'd rather play with people that give a shit about the game rather than whatever qualifies as "fun" for them.
