I have one, but she's only 3 Flowers and level 66, compared to my soon to be 4 Flower level 90 Yuuna. Yuuna's leader skill may be a lot worse than Sonoko's, but the huge stat difference makes it worth running her instead, doesn't it?

Pairings only share the HP, both characters have their own attack stat. So even if you pair her with Fuu her attack won't change.

As someone mentioned earlier, it's her DPS that's really good.
Her leader ability also theoretically increases the DPS of every color, which makes her very flexible team-wise. Her active boosts her attack speed even more, and her passive lets her spam it.

It's important to give her the right support units/fairies. Something like Takashima Yuuna or Natsume paired with an crit and attackspeed fairy are godlike. She'll attack and crit so often that you can spam her active and still gain more gauge than you can use.

I think it's the opposite of "damage cut". So "damage cut +200" means every hit you take does 200 less damage to you, while "damage up +1" means every hit you take does 1 more damage to you.

As a side note I think this is why some bosses take no damage apart from hissatsus, their damage cut is higher than your damage output so you do nothing, but a hissatsu does much more damage in a single hit than any damage cut.

My only green that is remotely usable is Tomato.
Seeing how the mobs are all blue I couldn't bring any reds in so Karin and Yuuna are out of the question.
I had to take the SSR Bakaba friend because a swarm of the penguin attackers spawns 2 seconds in, and I have to use Utanon's hissatsu otherwise they'll for sure kill someone on the spot.
Fuu is a crit machine meatshield, no real choice there.
As for Tougou, well I thought about taking SR Sonoko but then I'd have 4 Melee characters, with one sitting back not doing anything so I opted for her.

I need help to 3star E2-5 on Hard.
Here's my team+rooster. I tried to tweak my team a little and sometimes I'm close to do it but just before I finish off the boss 1 of my yuusha dies. There's too much stuff at the end and I just want to kill the boss quickly before they destroy shinju/kill one of my guys.

I'm completely stuck on the very last boss of the event on hard mode. I was using a friend SSR Wakaba at first, but when that didn't work I used another Sekka to see how it went and got my best result yet, but I haven't been able to repeat that. Also tried switching out my Sekka for a Wakaba and using a friend Karin, didn't work that well. Any advice?

I was rather suggesting that you keep Fuu on Karin as your primary tank, and throw on SSR Wakaba with some stat stick as support (your level 42 Yuuna seems most convenient) for her low cost, low cooldown active skill. As long as you manage Wakaba's positioning to keep her from eating too many hits, that should hopefully let you deal enough damage to prevent your units from dying.

Note that Takashima on Sekka would let you build gauge more quickly due to Sekka's naturally high crit rate, if that's what you need, but would cut your damage output otherwise. I doubt you'd get a net gain from the trade, but it's something to consider if you find yourself dying to lack of gauge.

I finally 3 starred it easily last night with this and another Yuuna after struggling a lot. I used a plus formation with Karin in front and Tougou in back moving around to help with the reds.

Karin getting a high rank seems really important since she completely tore through the boss at 9.

Perhaps try using Karin+Fuu to solo the boss, and set Sekka+Sumi and Wakaba+Yuuna (either one, depending on whether you need more damage to gauge) on mob-clearing duty with their decent damage outputs and low cost cooldown specials.

And since you're bringing a second Sekka, you can set one of them stationary and one of them to alternate between the lanes to reinforce where needed? Sekka has a line special, so she can periodically clear an entire lane on her own; you might not even need Wakaba's, which takes some timing to catch as many mobs as possible.

If Wakaba's special is too difficult to use, SSR Yuuna with that SR Fuu might also work, though her special is more expensive, gauge- and cooldown-wise.

You should probably be setting Karin as your leader to begin with, since her leader skill is better than Yuuna's.

I'm also not seeing the synergy between Yuuna and Tama.

I'm assuming you got pushed back to the last line rather than staying there the whole time, since that would be ridiculous. I'm not really sure where your line is breaking, though.

With 2 decent ranged units and level 50 Karin+Fuu, you should be able to set up right at the start to have Karin mostly solo the center row while the ranged characters move around to clear rows as needed (together, they ought to chew through a line of Vertexes) and your last character off-tanks.

Perhaps try to get someone with a faster attack speed than Tougou?

Where did the Wakaba run fall apart?

Do d8s drop from D3-2 as well?
3-3 is way too brutal for me.

Karin is always my leader.
I just put Tama on Yuuna for the stats btw since Fuu is taken by Karin.

Here's how it goes. For the guest, I choose Tougou+Sumi or Sekka. Maybe I should use someone with higher atkspd like you said but who ? Plus Tougou's leader skill is great for the team.

Sekka should work. I would open with Karin soloing the middle lane for maximum ranking while you alternate your Sekka between top and bottom, keeping things as stationary as possible, but apart from that I'm not sure how else I could advise you.

I just cleared the event boss in hard mode with levels similar to yours. The key is, get a 4-flowered Karin from friend to help, once ths boss come out, drag all your own yusha all the way to the back and let the friend karin solo the boss. The duty of your own yuusha is to stay alive before your friend killed the boss. And you can also let those high damage mobs like Gemini slip to Shinju to increase the survival rate of your own yuusha to 3-star

Other anon here. Your rooster is kinda lost cause because you don't have high level karin. You want that episode skill no matter what. Mob can be cleared using another unit special, but to to tank and damage the boss, karin with episode skill is the best choice.
That other anon strategy of using 4 star friend karin might worth a try, just make sure she get all the kill during mobs phase to get her level as high as possible.

My suggestion
Leader : SSR Yuuna + any strongest stat stick.
Unit 1 : SR Tama + SSR tougou
Unit 2 : SR Gin + SR chikage
Friend : strongest karin you can find.
Make karin grind a lot during mob phase. When boss appear set karin middle frontline, yuuna 2 square behind, Gin 2nd to last, tama last.

Use unit as special user to clear the map, Yuuna move 1 square to front then use ult to hit boss and top and bottom lane, then fall back again, swap with gin if you need another ougi ( Time your ougi correctly, don't waste it on low profile vertex ).

Use tama to help middle lane damage, and use special too if you. You want the karin to 1:1 the boss as much as possible, dont let other mob disturb this

I just barely beat E6-5H, 1 star, but i got and extra copy of the event togo as a drop

I cleared that map using Karin lead, SR Bakaba + Tougou + Friend Yuuna (For the extra HP). I can even 3-star it when Karin is not the lead (because one time i swap in the wrong team) simply because her output damage is just too much.
You can try using a similar team with high level friend Karin instead. The bonus given by the level is nice, but it's not a necessity to clear the map.

My Japanese is very limited, so on the data transfer screen is it asking me to type a password in the black box? Is typing it in roman letters ok for a Japanese game? Then I'd press the green button, right? I don't want to risk fucking my data up or anything.

I think it's deliberate, it makes the game more interesting in terms of strategy and partybuilding if some colours are weaker than others, and it prevents people from 100%ing the game right now since ShiUYu is blue.

With that said Blue D3-3 isn't really that hard with a good party, I 3*ed it no problem.

Alright how many if you have got the bug where your character just runs in place? It's happened to me a couple times so far, my Karin was just running in place here. You can do a really good line formation with greens right down the center which is actually very strong. It kills regardless of the number of vertex. But it has a hard difficult limit where if you go over it your formation is useless and falls apart.
