Not that I know of, just a face-lift. The remasters were buggy when they were released. I've heard they fixed some, but not all bugs with the remaster.

>The glass screen then showed its audience images of said artifacts. A item that seemed to have gears and a handle. Maybe an overly zealous can opener, or an early version of a portable phone, with two rotary dials. Next was what seemed to be a dark bottle that had the head of a crow as its stopper. The video then showed a booklet, or a wallet of some sort. It was blue with a gold embroidered seal. The seal was a circle with a shield of some sort in the middle. A gloved hand pulled out a ticket that had a clear label saying 'Port of Columbia' on it. The final item shown was a propaganda poster of some sort. On it said, 'THE FALSE SHEDPARD SEEKS ONLY TO LEAD OUR LAMB ASTRAY', along with its imagery of a winged creature in the background, or maybe an angel, along with what looked like the grim reaper along side a young lamb, that seemed to have a very human face on it.

Elizabeth clapped her hands excitably as she set down in front of her computer. They really were marvelous machines. She had already made good use of using the device's searching function to gain knowledge on a variety of subjects, like "curing alcoholism", "best cafes in Paris", "how likely is it for a child who is a product of incest to have defects", and "deals on used books". But above all else she found the fact that people from around the world were able to talk to one another without even leaving there home simply fascinating. After having spent most of her life cooped up in a tower, and some more in a hostile city, it was certainly a breath of fresh air.

But that didn't mean Elizabeth didn't enjoy some good old fashioned arguing herself.

Not long after she got the computer running, Elizabeth navigated over to her new favorite site. It hosted boards a many topics. Elizabeth didn't fully understand some of the them, but that just made the conversations she had more fun. She decided to stay away from the political board, having had enough of that back in Columbia. The board about moving pictures seemed to always discuss strange subjects, such as planes and the big guys who crash them. The boards she most frequented ended up being the ones the focused on electronic games. She had never really played any of them, but the people of the board accused each other of the same thing so she guessed it wasn't really a prerequisite.

The "threads" (as they were known) that Elizabeth most enjoyed visiting were the ones where people argued over which electronic game device was the superior product. How delightfully stupid. Scanning through the thread, she saw most of the usual garbage. What she needed was a good post to generate bait from. Then she could get all the "you"s she wanted. She decided to hit them with the old "right pointing arrow then being a consolefag then a line break then another right pointing arrow then the present year".

After typing her message, Elizabeth decided to attach that image of a smug frog to her post for good measure before making her rounds on other boards. In the the board centered around Japanese media, she found one about admiring fictional women, Elizabeth posted some cute pictures she herself had saved. They always seemed to produce "you"s from angry people who hated traps and accused her of being very happy. She didn't see how liking a trap door or something similar was supposed to make you happy and jovial (otherwise known as being gay), let alone related to her pictures. She thought they were perfectly adorable pictures of young girls. It was honestly extremely ridiculous. Her past experiences had left her with a disdain for dangerous traps and all the unforeseen harm they could cause. She couldn't see how traps cause someone to be gay, it was a very odd concept to her.

There are a lot of parallels, game-play and kinda, and kinda level wise as well with a I guess theme for an area, with BS1&2 and SS2. Though SS2 is a bit more in depth in my opinion. I can't tell you much about SS1, I've never beaten it. It's defiantly a mid 90's DOS game. And at the current rate SS1 Remaster is going, it should be out by the end of the year or early next year. With the SS games, you don't at all need to play SS1 to understand SS2. The opening cutscene alone explaines all you need to know, along with other things along the way.

>"It's a PKE meter. It should be able to detect any ectoplasmic phenomena in the vicinity." She flips the side dial agin making the device quiet and it retracted it's control arms.

>"Yes", she said as she pushed the main rod back in. "I can rule out that you're not a ghost."
