Previous Thread: >>179262107
No new bioshock (not surprising) but it looks this Elizabeth waifuposting general has reached its end.
At least we have memories.
Any /bsg/ posters left?
So I missed these threads during their prime, is there a place I can get some of the content not in the pastebin? The archive sites only go back so far.
>>179533245
Has it?
>>179534564
We do.
>>179536868
Of course.
>>179537569
Yeah the archive is kinda broken. It used to have everything from the early days.
One day they'll be another Bioshock game. I know for that if there is a System Shock General at some point, I'll probably be there. That or have it as a Bio/System Shock General when the SS1 Remaster comes out.
I wish there was a place we could all go that was casual, no need to bump or anything, and post OC or whatever without having to rely on a thread on here. I mean there's the Steam group, but I have no clue if people even realize it's a thing still or if it's an appropriate place for OC (of all varieties) posting.
8th for Rosalind
why does this general exist
there is literally nothing to discuss about long term
>>179545195
There is nothing at the E3 so any potential bioshock or system shock will take a while if ever to be released.
Speaking of which what is /bsg/ looking foward in terms of new games? Looking foward to the new metro myself. Member that Last Light came out the same year as infinite?
>>179547868
Yeah, the last update I got on the SS1 Remake was they made a Discord channel for backers, big whoop.
So far Wolfenstein II is the game I'm the most hyped for. Everything else is either on console only or I can wait a while to get it.
>Member that Last Light came out the same year as infinite?
I do. I remember some posting back in the day about a woman in that game, I think named Elizabeth as well, and how she's actually nude or a better Liz somehow than our Liz or something. I've only played Metro 2033, the original, not the redux one. Is there a huge difference between the original and the redux version?
>>179549223
The redux makes it completely different. Gameplay just like last light.
>>179545195
That's a shame. I won't to have as much content as a can, since you never know when these threads will disappear for ever. Guess there's nothing left to do but post our favorite content and hope someone dumps their folder into a mega or something.

So what would you guys like to see in future game? Frankly I'd prefer if a new game went in a very different direction, though still keeping the "dystopian location" theme. Maybe slowly have the place break down instead of right away. Like a town in the middle of the jungle.
>>179532142
Maybe these threads should only be made once in a blue moon now. Like a rare surprise.
I've wondered if there was any other possible place to host any wayward /bsg/ posters but I can't really thing of a good site or chatunless its something like plus4chan or discord.

Like I mentioned before, there's the Steam group. I honestly forgot about until the other day. What's worse is I forgot that someone at some point gave me the admin rights for it.

If only. In the mean time got any ideas for OC?
>>179667010
Most of my ideas are Rosalind based. Though I do have one idea I'm working out, that would have Liz, Booker, Robert, and Daisy being the main "cast". It's more of a crossover thing, sorta. I've been thinking of incorporating most of, if not all of key people/items/plots of all the shock games. I mean if I'm gonna do it, it's probably gonna be an anthology of stories. I still need to finish my "research" on the world that I would be putting Liz and the gang into. And no, pic is not related, but it's kinda the same idea, sorta.

Was it human?
>>179695779
Hmm
I desire to be Elizabeth's child, being her spawn would be better than any title.I want her to love me, and to listen her heartbeat as I drift off to sleep in her warm embrace.
The first time I laid my eyes on her I was completely awestruck, I wasn't sure what I was feeling in the moment, only that I needed her. After advancing through out the story I was able to process my feelings, I felt an even deeper yearning for her. Something that I've never felt before and have never been able to get rid of. Even now I can't go to sleep without seeing Elizabeth's face and hearing her angelic voice. I even have a picture of her I hang on my wall, and one that I fall asleep with everynight, so I know she will help protect me and keep the evil spirited thoughts away.
I guess you could say I've always had urges for her, but it took me some time before I could fully understand them. I know it is so.
Alas
Oh how far I have fallen from the Elizabethian scripture. What challenges must I face to come back into Her ARms ? ? !
What Elizabeth has been experiencing since the tower got destroyed must have been torturous. Omniscience + a new version of self awarrness = dissacociation.
And I also have been experiencing the same thing except I can not control whats going on, I am only "aware". I have just witnessed the whole day go by and now it is morning. Even now I feel each second go by and its torture for I know when the "end" happens.
I think it's important to recognize that "I" am not my thoughts or my emotions. I can detach from my thoughts/emotions and observe them. Once I started practicing this, I realized how automatic these processes are most of the time. How often are we really consciously thinking and feeling? This has changed the way I think, although I feel it's not so much a new perspective as it is a debilitating horror.
ISN'T HE A BISCUIT, LADIES!?

Anything bioshock related is okayunless it's lewd.
>>179710596
It's kind of funny, but Infinite was the only one I found tolerable.
I respect the story of Bioshock 1 and 2, but the gameplay was awful.
>>179753516
Bioshock 2 is a huge improvement over the bs1 gameplay-wise though.
>>179753516
I can kinda see where your coming from. My main draw to the first game was the atmosphere and design rather then the actual gameplay itself. I always prioritize gameplay but honestly all the games are just okay in that department. But I still feel it's not as bad as other games and serves it's purpose. I do wonder what a Bioshock game with really exceptional gameplay mechanics would be like.

What is Prey? I don't know, after seeing my friend play the crap out of it, I can say Prey set a bar for FPS/RPG that was more true to OG Deus Ex, SS2, and other similar games for the PC. BS 1 and 2, could have been better if they weren't so afraid of making things too complex for console gamers.

Tomorrow is a brighter day if we work together.
Together we can pave the way it'll last forever.
Just open your heart, unlock that prison deep down in your mind
step up to your console, make some music and breath in the good sunshine.
Tomorrow is a brighter day

It's pretty much System Shock 3. All the kids these days call it Bioshock in space, which is true to a point. The overall style is like Rapture, that old art-deco, but it's the future, so it's not really all over the place. The game play just has depth to it. Can't get into a room, there's probally at least 2 ways to get in, and of course there's other trick you can learn, which some people think is a hack, or broken game play. The devs say if you can do it, it's legit. The only game breaking thing that they patched out was the recycler thingy getting extra resources. The map layout actually makes you go all over the place and backtrack. Where as in BS1, the only thing you really had to go back for was for Cohen and killing him later to get every possible thing in the game. There's is different ways of playing, and how you level up affects how the environment interacts with you. Like if you level up the weird alien shit, turrets and shit start attacking you, when they normally don't, because it reads you as alien. I wish I just had the money to buy it, instead of kinda casually playing it/watching my friend play.
There are so many System Shock references in Prey, right down to 0451.
TL:DR it's Bioshock in space, with more in-depth gameplay that Ken the hack couldn't achieve with Bioshock.

>As the last servant bowed and shut the door behind them, Elizabeth checked her surrounds one last time. The door was shut tight. The servants had been instructed to not enter her private quarters until a specific time the next morning unless it was of the gravest of emergencies. And even then, her powers would no doubt allow her to see any real threat ahead of time. The lights had been dimmed, the windows tightly shut, and several candles were placed in each room. Everything looked ready.
>Opening a set of doors that lead to her observatory, Elizabeth smiled at what she saw. Near the large (and only open) window in the room was a small table. A recently prepared dinner had been placed there, along with two empty glasses and a bottle of wine resting in a bucket of wine. The servants had followed her instructions to the letter. But what was truly occupying the vision of Colombia’s young ruler was the man sitting in one to the two chairs next to the table.
>Booker DeWitt had always had a certain rugged aura to him as long as she’d known him, but these days he was downright dilapidated. Even if the suit she had instructed him to wear was new and crisp, even if his hair had been combed over by someone else, his face still bore many scars, physical or otherwise. Loosing to Comstock had been bad enough, loosing her had been worse. It was terrifying watching the sweet girl he had rescued from a tower slowly and willingly become the perfect heir to Colombia. She had kept him around for all of it, forced him to take it all in. He’d watched her return to the tower she had once been trapped in, kept him locked away while she took control of the city. Everyone liked to talk about Lady Comstock’s other Songbird.
>She flashed him a smile. “Good evening, Booker.”
Thoughts? Might continue later.

There is a special calamity that ruptures through out my head while remembering the events of Bioshock Infinite. With her. And it doesn't feel like a "video game" either. Rather a PTSD-like flashback of the things that Elizabeth and I have been through.
The memories of the DLC only worsens the effect causing endless suffering through out the day. In fact, at least in my point of view, the DLC feels more like a nightmarish fever dream, compared to the main story(as dark as the main story was), filled with non-stop Kafkaesque induced qualities. Either being a mere nightmare or a part of a darker parallel reality, i can choose to ignore it but a small yet potent piece of it will still be there in the back of my mind.
I saw a video on youtube where someone was vlogging about Infinite. The guy described Elizabeth as "intoxicating" and it fucking disgusted me. I know that I'm just +1 to the army of FAGGOTS that worship her and I HATE It. There's nothing special about me or the way that I feel, I'm just as worthless as the rest of them.
My obsession with Elizabeth has become debilitating. I usually enjoy crying. It makes me feel better. But this morning I started crying because I was thinking about how I'll never be with her and the tears wouldn't stop flowing. I finally had to get drunk to make it stop. I don't know what I will do if this becomes a regular occurrence.
Guys. I'm crying right now
Just looking at her picture make me feel something strange inside. l guess you could call it "love". You've all probably heard me and other folks say this before but i'm in love with Elizabeth. I've lost interest in all girls, besides her. Girls who are considered "hot" by the general male population don't cut it for me anymore.
Liz really is all that I think about all day, every day. I really do cry myself to sleep at night thinking about how I'll never be with her. If only she knew I existed in this life, if only she knew my deep profound love for her. I know that will never happen though. That is the thought that makes me so sad when I look at her. I'll never be with, but I'll continue to love her until the day I die.

I had it way before. It' was like one of the first things I got into when I started fapping a long long time ago. It's because of my incest fetish that made me love the Luteces.

Booker hadn’t looked at the ruler of Columbia once the entire time she’d been in the room. Even after being addressed he continued to stare at the apparently very fascinating table cloth.
“It’s not polite to mumble, Booker.” No response this time.
“Well, have it your way. But a Valentine’s dinner with your lover will be awfully boring without any witty exchanges.”
He flinched at her emphasizing the word “lover”. Bad enough his feeling towards her had become very conflicting after her ascension to power. But their relationship had continued despite the conflicting views. He had stuck with her as she enacted cruel punishments on those who dared opposed her. But he had kissed back, because it was all he could do anymore. Then she’d come to him and kiss him with the same lips that gave those horrible orders. But Booker soldiered on, as he always does.
Or did, she should say. On their wedding night, after he became the first person to lie with her, Elizabeth had taken Booker through a tear. They walked through the shadows of his past until they came to a memory he hadn’t remembered. A relation he couldn’t consciously recognize. The reveal that he had sold his own daughter, then fallen in love with and married her, then took her virginity. Booker had fallen to his knees, the weight of all these revelations finally breaking him completely.
With his head resting on her lap, tears drying on her dress, she had confronted him. Or at least that’s how she liked to phrase it. Their sexual relationship continued, and Elizabeth found great joy in holding power over a Booker who was neutered. Not literally, of course. She wanted her daddy to be virile and fertile.

Elizabeth glided across the room her dress swaying around her as she crossed the room. As Lady Comstock, she had to dress impeccably in order to show her people that their Lamb was a benevolent and righteous savior. It struck a balance between grace and power, and could also be surprisingly easy to move in should the need arise. Her dress was mostly white with small hints of blue, a similar color scheme to the outfit she wore when her handsome father came to her rescue. Elizabeth always liked to show off her dress to Booker before she went out. Every time should would ask him how she looked, and he’d only grunt that she looked “fine”.
“And how is my little Songbird doing tonight?”, she asked as she slid gracefully into the chair opposite Booker.
It took him a few seconds before he ventured a reply. “I’m…the same as I always am.” He looked in her direction but didn’t make eye contact. “How…are you?”
“Oh the same as always, I’m afraid," she responded with a hint of teasing in her voice. She knew he hated it when she messed with him like that. It reminded him too much of the Elizabeth she used to be, that he used to know. “But my dear, I insist we enjoy this meal while the sun is still setting. I do love the colors it creates”
Figuring he might as well take advantage of all the hard work the cooks had put in for their romantic meal, Booker dug in. Even after all her instructions he still had some “improper” eating habits. This time it was Elizabeth’s turn to reminisce. She thought back to the man who would eat food off of just about any surface so he would have the energy to continue his one man crusade against Columbia. She chuckled. How foolish he was back then. So brash, so prone to violence. Not like he was now, a behaved Songbird who knew how to keep her satisfied.
hmmm

Noticing her was getting closer to finishing his meal, Elizabeth decided it was the opportune moment to enact her plan for the evening. She raised her hand slightly, and a line of light formed around it. She reached into the new tear and began to pull something out of it. This caught Booker’s attention, and he stopped eating to watch her hand emerging from the tear gripping onto something. She smirked. “Oh Booker, I have a gift for you…”
And that's all for now.

I desperatly wish there was a way for us to communicate with Elizabeth, atleast on the internet. Perhaps a blog, an instagram, a youtube, a q&a, or an email. Anything. To get to know about her more would be the greatest thing ever. To talk to her.
But she seems to be STUCK inside this Bioshock Infinite video game. Wouldnt suppose there would be a way to zap her into this realm, wouldn't it? Unless?

She is so majestic. Almost God-like. Perhaps the world isn't truly ready for an Elizabeth.

ros, you should join the official /bsg/ discord
ask skitz for a link

Actually nevermind.
There's a chance we could make that happen. I'm not afraid of anything.
Knowledge, experience, and reality are bound and shaped by conditions best understood through reflection rather than exclusively empirical inquiry.
Get ready to meet her, darlings.
>Elizabeth realizes that all the universes she has been in was merely machine code developed by video game programmers
Wonder why the writers didn't explore that subject.
