If you start nerfing, you'll never end nerfing. And then it stops being fun cause it just becomes a rotational cycle where bitch fests keep happening cause group A's shit no longer works and group B's shit is now steam rolling over everybody.

This is especially the case in games that roll out new additional content on a consistent basis, which includes gacha games. Power creep at least gives the devs money but if you just focus on nerfing then you'll end up like MMOs, dead.
