For level 50 1/4/7 daily, if you are lagging or having trouble, there is a way to cheese it.
If you stand at bottom left corner (pic related) only 2 boats shoot at you, meaning all you have to do is move up and down a bit to dodge just 2 torps.
I assume this works with other stages.

As far as cube girls go, yeah. Cube girl abilities stack (and don't disappear with universal resets), regardless of which girl you have on-screen. The only thing having a girl on-screen does is increasing 'leave time', which helps to raise affection.

Colopl doesn't do discounts or specials on their currency however. They don't want users to get into the habit of waiting for such an occasion, which is kinda what happened in BGHS with birthday tickets. Colopl and especially BGHS happen to be on the expensive side of cost rates.

That's a valid point, especially regarding new character versions.

At the very least though they'd have to tweak the character, come up with new animations for their 2 skills, and another one for the weapon as well, which also needs a model. I think it's an above average level of work for producing rolling targets. You have some games that just put together a character graphic and skills, and rake it in.

They have a database of frill textures and other such details no doubt. But they redo a lot of art for some reason - each of Charlotte's hair textures and even eyes are all a bit different.
It's definitely more than what PAD has to do. They even got lazy with new evolutions for old monsters recently, where most are just a recolor. Bait gacha has crummy rates too just for stills.

A lot of games are recently making a distinction between free and paid currency. Partially due to iOS and play store differences and as incentive to IAP. Kinda don't like it either but I understand why they do it. Colopl does it with Tennis with the expiring tickets from playing and jewels only from IAP or login/compensation. The recent gacha stamp implementation is jewel-only too.
Haven't tried any of their newly released stuff but they definitely want to go in that direction.

Gaiga isn't actually a bow character, she's really a dark element. That's majority of her damage, and I believe only the physical portion gets the circle of carnage boost. Low SB is definitely your biggest problem, and undoubtedly why you're having trouble clearing. You might want to try some other physical damage if you have some other spears or even swords that have decent SB.

Otherwise it might be worth it to take a break from the main story and focus on things like job unlocks for other characters or clearing out the coin SB and luck pacts. Doing so will get you a few characters that can be recoded to be quite solid, like Jaguna^, Camellia^ and Suoh^.

We should be getting a batch of new characters and the release of the Solar and Lunar elements in the next few weeks, so when you get to 50 energy hold on to it until then.

Summon rates are deadly low with some spending 8000 dollars and not getting a supreme card or legendary Job

Satellite Girls are located under 'Girls > Sat'. They're attached to a particular planet and provide additional buffs. I think they were having trouble implementing it. A few weeks back, the Compass quests appeared around the bottom of the achievement quests, but inactive. Then they got removed around the start of the anniversary event. But now the exact same quests are back for the Compass thing so I'm guessing they just got it working now. Highest tier Uniques are pretty tough to get at the moment because Raids give 200 coins at most per attempt out of the 100,000 that you need. Supposedly there's more content coming soon for helping that. Until then it's gonna be basically $8.80USD per one of those characters.

Valkyrie Connect and even Granblue were labeled as mindless autofests everytime somebody mentioned them. While this is actually true for the former, this is kinda ironic since GBF(is not an autofest) now has one of the fastest generals on /vg/.
I've also very rarely seen people mention Shironeko until it got localized, aside from that 'Whitecat project english translation never' anon. People understood that English version is shit and many migrated to jp.

Hello, I'm a retarded newfag and I can imagine you guys hate having clueless people shitting the general up so I'll keep this as short as possible. I never played mobage in my life, but I am a turbo autist fan of drakengard and nier and the director of those games is currently working on two mobage games, SINoAlice (which I know has its own general) and Terra Battle. Now I'm specifically interested because apparently the scenario he is writing for Terra Battle is specifically canonical to the rest of the meta series; I downloaded the game, my first mobage game ever, and I'm kinda confused by a few things. Keep in mind that I'm an old man and retarded so while this stuff is obvious to you, it isn't to me. I understand the game mechanics fine and it's kinda fun, but how do these events work? Like I heard there was a final fantasy xv crossover recently, is it a timed thing that goes away after a while? And are those events localized in the US version at all, maybe after a while? (I had to download that one even though I'm in europe because it wasn't released in certain countries here).
Which ones should I attempt as a low level player?
Also am I missing out on anything by not spending money? As I understand it it only speeds up certain things so it doesen't seem necessary.

Okay so after restarting the game ~10 times I finally understood the trick behind that bug.

The game has a chance to launch frozen on the Orario(town) screen, you can only restart it if this happens.
Once you get lucky and finally launch it without freezing you can navigate to any screen without any freezes, clear as many stages as you want, but as soon as you return to Orario screen - you're likely to get a freeze again.
I've tried almost all the settings in nox(decreasing and increasing cores and ram, resolution and rendering mode), seemingly nothing impacts the rate of the freezes.

I also have a weird side problem: the game keeps downloading something in the background forever. The size doesn't go up higher than 1,22gb but it still continues to download. Gives me download errors from time to time, redownloads something with the actual download bar and after that STILL proceeds with the background dl. Sleek japanese netcoding.

So yeah, my best advice for fellow emulatorfriends is either to wait a few months for a new nox version, since it usually fixes the issues in popular games or maybe this is going to be fixed in some of the game updates. I've seen a few complaining japanese comments in the twitter describing the same issue.

The same thing that literally happened on JP release. A few people attempted rerolls then gave up on the game after realizing it was extremely boring and the rates sucked. The same thing happened with Raramagi too.

Also Granblue already had one of the fastest generals before English localization and people still shit on it, sometimes even moreso.

The Shironeko example is literally an example of the opposite of what was being asked as well. Everybody shat on the English version due to various issues unique to the English version and everybody that plays it here plays JP. The biggest boom of people starting the game had nothing to do with the English release though. The original Ruushe release during December was what spurred a lot of people to reroll and try the game.

Getting an English localization pretty much just removes an entrance barrier so of course it gets a burst of discussion. The game still has to stand on its own merits regardless, but being able to discuss it at all with anybody else is also a merit. 4chan is itself still an English board so stop getting peeved when English speaking people are more willing to give a game in English a shot.

Farm for characters and sell them for getting as many item slots as you can on your main characters (~4 slots is the highest you can go without selling Uniques), and fill all the slots up with items, with ATK on ranged fighters and defense on front tanks

The scorpion boss and the beast boss should be farmed until you feel good about everyone's equipment, and neither are too difficult as long as you get the dodge/block timings right

The worst part is when someone comes here to try to advertise some English game then starts shitting on the games discussed here and the people for hours (days, weeks and sometimes months for the more dedicated autists) because no one showed interest on their game or because people said the game they were advertising looked like shit. Some people understand they were trying to sell something to the wrong audience and leave/stop but some people think that by throwing a tantrum and insulting everyone/everything will make people play and discuss their game.

I started playing JP after trying and ditching global, and then suggested it to another anon that was looking for something to play. Then some other anons got interested in us talking about it, and things took off from there.

The discussion this time was started at >>180183780. Lacking initial criticisms besides Deviantart and EOPs. Further discussion shows no criticism of the actual gameplay. Just complaints about the art and awkward translation.

I gave Planet Master a shot and it's a decent incremental game as far as I can tell, but I also hung out on /igg/ for its short lifetime so I actually like those types of games. The art is also lewder than expected. Also complaints about Deviantart as an indicator of the art quality also strikes me as the immediate Western stuff is awful mindset. If anybody's ever browsed Pixiv, just looking through the pages, you end up realizing there's the same amount of awful crap, it's just nearly everybody here is first exposed through image aggregators like the boorus which only pick out the good things. Deviantart can have good art even if the vast majority is crap.

Don't think anyone has ever complained about localized games but like 95% of localized games end up as absolute garbage by many reasons so not a lot of English games take off here.
Most of them end are just autobattlers where the game plays itself and you have absolutely no control over your units except for when to use skills sometimes without control of where to move or who to attack.

Then there's the issue of the games being incredibly pay to win, removed/butchered some features from the original for a global audience, lack of events, lack of collabs, massively behind on updates, short lifetime and it being a straight-up downgrade from its original version so its really hard to find a good localized game.

Questions answered in order:
1) "Big" special events like the FFXV collab or the upcoming Yoko Taro scenario usually run around a month and vanish until MW feels like rerunning them. Which can be anything between 4-5 months and "never". They also tend to be weirdly balanced, so that newfriends may catch a sizeable glimpse at them, but are likely to be unable to finish them 100%.
2) Basically the same question and same answer.
3) It's a single server and everything always launches localized right out of the box.
4) Few of the things from the Challenge Tab are balanced towards low/new players. The Bahamut, Leviathan and Odin "Descent" quests are on permanent, weekly rotation and usually considered the entry point, to obtain the S-rank units of the same names - which can later on be upgraded to their Z-rank form.
5) At this point arguably yes. TB is kinda notorious for not throwing out its premium currency left and right and that you're only amassing it over time rather than through making the game your dayjob. They've also really missed the point at which they should've implemented tons of stuff to ease new players getting into the game nowadays and allow them to at least catch up SOME way to launch players. And then there's them unveiling new projects this week, which will undoubtedly slow down their efforts on TB even more in some way.

tl;dr - You might be better off just youtubing the story once it's released. Both because of 5) and you not sounding like you'd survive in the mobage world.
