Tifa is really a satellite character, who's existence revolves only around Cloud. FF games before X are kinda confused and not really well written. Many plotlines are half-formed and abandoned as the games had rather rapid timetables, and thus few characters meaningfully find the end of their arc as planned.

(I'm certain that statement will be leapt upon with immediate assertions that X was not well written, but it was a much more complete and consistent story than anything in the series before.)

Tifa has an end to her character arc, but strangely she seems to lack a beginning. She follows along with Cloud mutely and only two thirds of the way into the game does she suddenly become a caring, compassionate ally who helps her dearest friend reassemble his soul and become a true and healthy individual. Having done nothing of any particular relevance before that in the game, it's jarring.

Tell me about Quacho, Tama, Serafie, Enna Kros, & the Masked Woman. Never played WoFF.

To get good in mobius you need to define what you mean by good.
You can be either good at breaking, attacking, or defending.(I don't post support because for that all you need is to have the 2 standard support abilities(either in one card each or in a combo card) and the rest of the card deck modified according to what you're going to fight.
For each you need a job to perform that class, have the job have specific elements, and the ability cards for what you want to do.
From your post it seems you mean to deal good damage.
For that you will need an ability card that is the weakness element of the boss you're fighting and have high numbers on the card's attack stat, have a job with an attack type class(these usually have "damage +50%" multiplayer ability which you will need to deal high damage), have either a card that buffs your magic stat, or join a group with a support that has, have a weapon equipped that gives you the most magic stat of all the weapons you have, and additionally if the attack card you're using has damage focus that'd be great.

OH and most importantly, make sure the ability cards you use are appropriate to your class. Don't use mage cards in a ranger, or knight cards in a mage. Of course there are exceptions to this rule, like monks and some legend jobs but make sure you know first.

If you don't have a chainer yes very. It'll cost a lot of enhancement materials but as long as you get one enhanced she'll chain with Orlandeau and you'll be part of the big boys.

You could even awaken two so you can get a Ramza friend, but it'll require even more materials, so be ready.

I think enhanced Agrias does 30% less damage or something like that than unenhanced Orlandeau, but it's still very good and with the chain your whole party's damage will skyrocket.

No, you also don't seem to understand how wherever things happen off screen it's because Noctis is supposed to be left in the dark about that. LIke with the invasion the point is to juxtapose Noctis being carefree at the intro to the severity happening in Insomnia, you aren't supposed to see that from Noctis's perspective because he wasn't there, you learn about what happened there after. And other than that only Niflheim turning into Daemons happens before you get there too, because the point is you are supposed to uncover the mystery while you are there.

I'm finally working towards clearing out trials that I should of done a long time ago and i'm about to face Gilgamesh but i'm not sure what units I should bring. The 6* units I have currently are Cecil, Refia, Exdeath, Rain, Chizuru, Rem, Maxwell, Yda, CoD, Firion, Y'shtola, Setzer, and Xon. Not even really sure what happens in the fight.

Gilgamesh is a gimmick boss fight. You need to disable his attacks by doing element attacks. Each element attack disables a different type of attack he does.

Rain is good for this since his lava floor covers earth and fire.

So, taking a look at the Soulcage MP AI makes it seem like using anything physical might end up causing problems because of it's counter fira. I've seen people being tempted to bring their better holy damage and imperils, but it sort of seems like it might be better to play it safe and stick with holy magic. The other problem there is that it has a ton of ranged physical attacks that might fuck up some of the lower HP mages. Plus, you need to bring some ice/water stuff for when it sets itself on fire anyway, preferrably something that's also non-elemental since it resists both of those elements. What a pain.

Metal gods have been pretty rare for me too, none today so far. I don't even think I've hit 80k with a 475% bonus team, and this is the third day. At least I should be able to get everything if I just keep grinding every day, being able to get another +25% once Maxwell becomes available should help too. Hang in there dude, we'll make it.

Been looking at some stuff to get for Aileen in the future, I'm pretty happy to see Veritas of the Heavens is a 4* base, I figured they'd all be 5 stars. Duke's tmr looks amazing too but >5* base plus another 5* base required to get the most out of it (Fohlen). But speaking of Fohlen's tmr, are there any helms that come out in the future that give more atk than it? Also, does a regular old spear mastery exist in JP?

On a semi-related note, I'm thinking about the future and what team comps will look like. It sounds like people will want to have WoL (tank plus breaks), Tilith/Ayaka/insert healer here, Rikku, Ramza/Roy/buffer and two chainers+finisher. But even if you include the slot for your friend unit, that's six slots and seven people you want on your team. Who gets dropped? Tank? Finisher?

I'm assuming Eiko is going to lead with protect. Maybe we can out turtle the turtle.

out of what I can recall, the Auction House can get you Zona Seeker, and a subquest lets you buy the Excalipoor which is needed to get Gilgamesh, you're also missing Ragnarok and Odin, don't remember where Ragnarok is from and it's also missable forever if you choose to reforge the magicite into the sword, and Odin's I believe in the same dungeon where you fought the Blue Dragon, Leviathan from I believe diving into the serpent trench again and then some

Other than that you're missing Crusader, Golem and Alexander (from Cyan's dungeon) and that's about as much as I can remember off the top of my head.

A+ is up, Snow/Vanille here. We lack a fourth, blinks and breaks stacking would be nice.

He's gonna use Gilgamesh Transform, a single target 100% Death and AOE Dispel at each of these threshholds. Do you have any Noctis friends? Because they're going to be very useful for the fight. People have mentioned the element sealing, but he gets a really fucking nasty one below 50% HP. It's lightning, and specificially has to be magic (or hybrid) lightning damage to seal it. Noctis can deal hybrid Thunder damage that actually breaks his MAG. With an Excalibur he can be your light sealer too.

Rem actually will be nice for you. You can Fish with Noctis to make the Death hit him and slap reraise on him to not skip a beat. You can do this with Cecil too, but his Provoke is only 70%. Another option you have is to tun Xon, since his Dispel+Buff Steal is nice against Gilgamesh Transform. His Rash Impulse also includes a 100% Provoke for you to force the death onto.

If you need to do 5-man, I'd say pack Rem/Refia/Cecil/Xon/friend Noctis. Noctis will do Light/Lightning, DW Xon can hit Fire/Wind, Earth isn't that necessary to seal and Water is actually special. If you hit Gilgamesh with water 3 times, he does a special move that gives him 300% def/spr boost. Steal that shit with Xon, it'll get dispelled during his next threshold but mitigate the damage from it will. If you don't have a water weapon (trident I think?) to stick on cecil, you should have a water blade materia sitting around

Golem is also at the auction house just like Zone Seeker or whatever his remake name is. I've only played the original game so I don't know about any of the added espers. For Bahamut you need to kill that flying monster that you meet while in the airship, he runs away but doesn't get HP back so you have to just keep hunting him down until you manage to kill him. Crusader is the prize for killing all of the legendary dragons, and at least one (maybe two of them, I can't remember) are in the final dungeon.
