Of my Switch? I actually really like it. I think the gimmick of it being both a handheld (Even though portability is an issue and it basically requires a carrying case) and a home console. I was surprised that the Joy-Cons felt as good as they did, though I spend most of my time using the Pro Controller, which is hands down one of if not the best controller on the market, and handheld mode, which I enjoy lying in my bed and getting comfy with. I can't say I have too many complains about it, other than the portability of it. It fits my hands quite well, though I could see some issues if your hands are bigger than normal.

The original vision of the devs is shit.

Proper design is about reduction, not about addition. It is about paring your game down to its most essential, highest-quality elements. When you leave non-essential, lower-quality elements in, you get a bloated game, a non-cohesive game, a bad game.

All this entire incident tells me is what I already knew - more powerful computers are killing the game industry. Freedom is the worst thing to ever happen to game development. Limitations FORCE you to make a quality game, because if you don't make a quality game, it's incredibly easy to tell - there's just not much there, so the bad elements stick out. But freedom means you can throw in every shitty idea you've ever had, and come out with a "MASSIVE AMAZING WONDERFUL GAME" praised by millions, like AC or Skyrim or, hell, even BotW in a lot of ways. Games which aren't really games, just giant, empty spaces full of fluff.

I hope to god that I'm wrong about this. I hope that MHW is a great game. I'd love to play sexy HD Monhun on my beast computer instead of on a tiny 3DS screen.

But come on. In the last decade, how often have the pessimists, the naysayers, really been "wrong" when a game series started going down the path of freedom?
