For me, personally, I noticed doing the latter more and more. It just started with leaving out one girl/route out of three, then two out of four and now I just do the girls I like and ignore the rest. I just don't feel like spending hours upon hours on a girl that I'm not into and replaying the same game over and over, only with character specific dialogues changing for the worse. Do you guys experience any alternative universe of a game, no matter how shitty? If there are four girls, do you play every of their routes, even if you don't like two of 'em from the get go?

The first side story is about Momiji being friends with Akari, Akira, and Daigo in college. The things that happen there are:

>Momiji has the sphere in her chest
>Souichirou sees the sphere
>learn that Akira and Souichirou are investigating the Alice Foundation
>the whole backstory about Momiji's family falling out of business
>Akira says that the planet is being invaded
>Hide, the leader of Alice Foundation, tries to recruit Souichirou but fails

Then on the second side story, it's the mansion murder case. We learn that Souichirou took advantage of the circumstances to get the list of everyone that worked in the Himawari, and had the virus. He needed the list in order to kill everyone with the SA-DAN0080 crash. He also recovered every single sphere.

It was never explained how Momiji and Daigo became a family, although I suppose it' nothing important.

It is explained that the silver spheres that are on the victims of Alice Syndrome's bodies are made by the Hide guy, and they were based on original alien spheres that dropped on Earth, but it was mostly left unclear.

I just started playing this after getting hooked on the first game.

Is it just me, or is S sort of a lot more disjointed? Like, in Majikoi the prologue + May events combined to give each route a shared sequence of beginning events, and Agave ended up incorporating a lot of interesting crossover and references to things that happened in other routes. But so far, it feels like S's different routes are all basically self-contained stories that are much shorter than the girl's routes in Majikoi, and with fewer choices, though they might be more meaningful.

Like, I just finished the Kokoro route, but it felt like nothing about the Bushido plan ever came up, nothing ever came of being Yoichi's aniki or Benkei's chikuwa, and there wasn't enough exploration of how Kokoro and the Kazama family ended up settling their differences and became friends, or how Yamato's move from F-Class to S-Class affected the relationship between classes. It just kind of goes from teasing Kokoro to fucking her everywhere and that's it. There isn't even any exploration of what Kokoro's family can do to you for being a pleb piss fetishist, unlike how we at least see what Moro's family does to people that cross them.

It was sort of the same with the Tatsuko afterstory. You just end up leaving all your school friends behind to go have sex with a harem of sexy sisters. There is almost no interaction shown between the sisters and the rest of the Kazama family despite Gakutou, Moro, Wanko, and Momoyo occasionally talking about them doing stuff. Despite Yamato doing so much to make connections with others and expand his network, so far the routes feel like they're just isolating Yamato and avoiding interaction between characters.
