They were obviously never translated, but they don't appear in any of the drakengard books I own. I doubt they are from the novelization, and I am not aware of the artbook having short stories in it, but it might be.
They obviously aren't from the official guide since I own that, and they aren't in there.
I'm going crazy trying to figure this out honestly

A shame nothing came of Cavia High. Stock backgrounds are quite easy to get off pixiv now. I hate myself for lacking the artistic talent to replicate the style of whoever drew for Drakengard 1-2. Fan projects are always fun but I'm entirely against the idea of making it look like garbage as an end result.

Wonder if the reason N2 changed so much in the end is because it understood what a love is.
Its actions were always machine-like and rational. Even forcing 9S to fight an army of 2B was rational as they simply made the amount of times both of them killed each other even. But after A2 tricked it into fighting itself and by observing 9S clinging to the memories of a girl he loves so much it feels like it became a different person as Ark is the last thing i would've expected from usual N2. Let alone giving 9S a place there.

Is there a way to make the controls actually responsive or does the game arbitrarily restrict things such as running randomly? Also having trouble finding what's so fun about the combat in this game... the evading/dodging seems to literally warp you through attacks and stuff like the heavy overhead/jump attack gets interrupted by ground mobs melee attacks. The bosses have some of the most predictive attacks I've ever seen and some of the most unpredictive "swipe" attacks that are impossible to avoid(unless you literally warp through their bodies with your dodge). I don't think I'm having much fun with this game(after 6 hours), the switch to the different game designs also got old really fast.

Is there a reason to play unless you have a big boner for 2B?

What the hell is up with the geography? The Shadowlord's castle leads them way up and into the city, and the monochrome mansion leads them even further underground. I had assumed Nier's world was entirely man-made which would explain the permanent day-cycle, but Automata has made me think otherwise.
