Snake runs into his first issue. Got grabbed and got. I can only cauterize the wound, which shouldn't be an issue but I will be debilitated for a day or two. Built ourselves a little hobo hovel, with a new bed and some cabinets. We also disassembled all the benches and lockers, to be used for supplies later. This will likely be our home for a year or so. Our next order of business is finding a wrench to take apart a charcoal smoker, building a corpse cart to move all the corpses closer to home for processing, and securing enough water to live until it actually starts raining. We also have enough food to start exploring, but with a hospital to our west, a hotel and home improvement store to our east (!!!), the town to our south and a military blockade to our north, that doesn't look so bright. Perhaps once we have a better weapon.

Alright this beorning thing seems a big annoying.

You get your "transform into a bear" power at level 2, but instead of a toggle or something it's a timed buff
and every time it expires you have to re-cast it, and then also go into the menu and change your melee combat style back from "weapon combat" to "bearform combat" so you actually claw at things instead of attacking with your 1d1+0 empty hands

No, I mean that he could play something other than a NaFi^Mahkleb or Gozag that casts tornado and lichform. COBRA is good at what he knows, but he makes mistakes simply because he doesn't have as much knowledge outside of how to tab. In contrast, Tittycrusher could play pretty much any race/backround and be successful. I've spectated both players, and would say that Tittycrusher was the far stronger player.

I remember roaming through multiple cities looking for this. Almost have a full suit of leather armour now. Just need something to cover the legs. Swapped to a quarterstaff to facilitate easier tabbing as well. Serves just fine for these basic Z's.

Hmm. Maybe it's just using the OP holy gods, but I've always considered him the easiest Pan/Hell lord by far: no Torment, no weird and dirty tricks. Just a big mofo with lots of HP and some Ice/Elec magic, both of which are weak with rC+++/rElec.

The biggest issue, for me at least, was always that there are 4+ Ice Fiends nearby. Taking those out while not getting assraped by Hell effects and other Coc:7 shit was much more difficult than Antaeus in a 1v1.

How much Evo do you need before box of beasts starts producing creatures that can take on pan/hell lords?

It's softcore realistic. You need to do it one tile at a time, and every step takes several hours, so building something like a small cabin can easily take a week of game-time. However, you can easily hoard a week's worth of food. The only real limitation is boredom.

When I used Aya her primary shot felt very underwhelming. As in, I'm pretty sure she does less damage to bosses than Cirno does. Fall is definitely busted and she has a nice bomb though.

The spread shot feels bad at first but it's actually pretty great for stage clearing. Full-power Cirno with 5 or 6 summer charges just melts everything on the screen.

Yeah. Your base damage is the one you're shown, but you do a shitton more damage when you sleepstab something. Also stabbing (or critically wounding) a monster applies a huge bonus to your damage. With a 250 damage weapon I saw through wizmode that I did 2000 damage to a sleeping monster and 1800 when critically stabbed him.

It's RNG.
