I've been playing a Pasai > Malaya game and it's my first time with institutions and the new china DLC, now every nignog backwater seems to be able to keep up with European tech levels, so you see France or Spain at 20/20/20 and look at Kongo and they're about the same. I had a pretty bug filled run where I went military junta, declared martial law to fight the protests, the game said I won the civil war despite it not happening yet, had an event to reintegrate the union states, then the syndicalists popped up and declared war, then I got the event to reintegrate the syndicalist states but the syndicalists still existed, then the pacific states popped up but I decided to form an alliance instead of declare war, then an event fired where canada told me to join their faction so I did, then an event fired to reintegrate the pacific states and I actually got that territory but their army still existed. I assume they might have had control of hawaii or something but I didn't bother looking

I can't speak for how well he fought, (Although he was sitting at 100 WE for a good chunk of time during he war) but as an observer, diplomatically he got outplayed.

He declared on Austria for Spheres and literally a day later France declared for Wallonia, which he took from a GrossNetherlands after everyone told him to stop being a blobbing faggot.

For some reason he thought his spheres in Sicily and Sardinia would help him in his fight, and the Sardinia player told him to fuck off. He did have trouble shuffling armies between fronts; Sweden landed and took Memel, France took Wallonia and pushed into the Rhineland. I did see two huge ass fights against France; the first easily 300k each, Prussia winning that easily. That was early in the war, a few months later, after sitting at 100 WE for a while, another bug fight in the Rhineland say a easy French win.

tldr; Military wise it's Prussia, hard to do bad in. Diplomacy wise outplayed, even tried to get Russia in on the fight once he was loosing against France and Austria. Props to him for getting France to peace out for Wallonia so he could take Austria to the cleaners tho

I couldn't see, but it seemed like a back and forth between Prussia and Austria and their spheres, mainly on the Bohemian border. My guess is at the start Prussia had initial success, then pulled their forces west to deal with France, letting Austria to regroup and push back the German minors along with their allies. They did push into Silesia before Prussia came back after the first big battle, and pushed them back into Bohemia. Austria pushed back again when Prussia tried to stop France a second time, and after Prussia and France reached peace. Prussia started shoving their shit in and after a few weeks, stack wiped their army.

I think it was the Sardinia player who suggested it, but someone suggested a Prussian-Austrian WP, France taking Wallonia, and Prussia letting Austria going through with their SGF plans. Prussia wrecks Austria in the opening push, occupying Saxony and Bohemia within a month or two. After France's declaration of war, and with Sardinia telling him to fuck off, shifting his army west to take on France. Along the way he should have occupied enough to force out the minors on Austria's side; would have reduced Austria's strength and freed up his spheres to push Austria. After getting to the west front, fuck up France like he did with the first battle, free occupied territory, and push into France. After the eventual second battle, assuming he won, decide how much he leaves on the French front and send the remainder to Austria. Had he kept his lands unoccupied, and kept some of France's and Austria's occupied (France wasn't occupied to my knowledge), he would have been able to win.

Austria's a similar story. It would have required more ordination with France, but getting parts of Prussia occupied to drive up WE asap is goal #1. Knocking out the German minors would have been #2, and while I do not know how much Two Sicily contributed to the Prussian cause, getting them to a WP would have helped.
