The exploration in Andromeda contributed to ruin the campaign only for me, or is it a common feeling? Instead of numerous adventures, I felt like the entire game was divided in irrelevant fetch quests, mostly empty/pointless buildings/structures, and a very short main mission (You just follow the Kett around for what, 5 missions?)
The rest is almost only driving the Nomad and shoot the random bad guys suddently bug-spawning.

Is Soldier boring? With how flashy biotics seem to be in this game it seems like the way to go, but I've always liked specializing in weapons so I can use all the gear I get effectively.

Combat abilities seem like they might be worse than the other two as well? At least by just reading them.

Well, that was certainly... something. I had low expectations, considering the fact that people have been shitting on the ending for half a decade, but I somehow still managed to feel let down.
You're doing something very, very wrong when a stock ending ("You shoot the bad guy and press a button and everyone lived happily ever after") would be preferable to what I actually got.

I finished it like, three or four days ago and had way more issues than just it being a let down, there were a lot of plot holes (seriously, first one to tell me how does it make any fucking sense for TIM to be there gets a fucking medal).

And yeah, Major Coats felt really wierd. Specially because he had this hardass vet voice that didn't fit his face at all, so not only did he stick out from how superfluous he was but also from how wierd.

It's only one reaper per cycle. Not sure I understand why, not sure what the human reaper from ME2 means since they say it's at the end of the cycle, not before it begins, and not sure why the hell does every other reaper look like Harbinger if apparently they're all made in the image of whatever was the most powerful race they harvested for that cycle.

Still, he just feels out of place in the game. He also has that line about being stuck in the Big Ben for three days, which is so unintentionally comedic that it feels completely out of place in a scene where everything is concrete-grey and people are wishing each other goodbye. The whole "one Reaper per Cycle" thing makes no sense, since it necessitates that in most Cycles, no Reapers are killed.
Also, the early Reapers must have taken on the galaxy almost alone.

It also invalidates their idea about the Reapers being a way to preserve cultures, since only making one per Cycle means that most knowledge is lost.

That doesn't make much sense though. Are destroyers not reapers as well? That would mean it's not true that it's one per cycle, just that it's a bunch and one of them is bigger than the others.

Also if the big ones are "capitals", how come you usually see reapers coming one by one? Sovereign sure as fuck was a capital ship, considering he was one of the largest reapers, and he was completely alone.

There's no option to specifically not say "I love you", but there is a dialogue option which results in Ryder not directly saying it. Don't take the Hug interrupt and then choose the Logical dialogue option. Instead Ryder tells Vetra that she doesn't need to be nervous and should just be herself, then lists some of the things he admires about her and says "that's what I love [about you]". The scene proceeds as normal from there. I actually like that version of it the best, gives Vetra a nice confidence boost and feels the least like you're taking advantage of an emotionally broken person.

Did anyone else find the whole final traject through the Citadel completely horrifying? I mean, you spend the whole three games with it as your hub of operations apart from the Normandy, your place to go chill in between missions and meet up with people both in and outside your crew. I think the only thing Bioware needed to do was do what >>176014234 said and just put in a "end this fucking shit" button. The ending should have been about dealing with the consequences of everything you've done up until that moment, with every decision leaving it's mark on the galaxy, just as Bioware promised, instead of trying to half ass it by giving you three options that override everything else and calling it a day.

Thinking of the Dragon Age Origins ending, for example. There wasn't such a big twist at the end that made everything up until that moment feel irrelevant, you just killed the Archdemon just like you intended to from the start of the game, plus the option of who sacrifices himself/impregnate Morrigan so no one has to, which is a major and impactful decision but doesn't necessarily make everything else irrelevant, and everything else in the ending was just learning the consequences of every decision you've taken, both good and bad. That was a satisfying ending, and at the end of the day it's really all that's needed. You get the spectacular feel from the gameplay through the last mission, not from adding a few 2deep4u words at the end while deleting everything the player has been working towards to.

Not to mention, making both Saren and TIM be justified at the end by adding control and synthesis is pretty much a kick to the balls. By that point the whole idea that you just CAN'T fucking trust reapers at all and the moment you let your guard down a little you become indoctrinated and no longer can reliably trust yourself has been drilled into your brain repeatedly by that point, and then at the end... lol yeah that's actually an option, just forget everything the game has taught you up until now.
