I'm also looking to add a fear elsewhere in his kit because I find it bizarre it's such an underrepresented CC in general and also underrepresented among Isles champs.

Used to be low key busted but not a lot of people played him because he's both boring and difficulty to play (not just hard but out right counter intuitive), had his level 1 damage reduced by more than half but scales back up to the same level of damage he used to have before, but it's not really worth it because his level 1 waveclear that let him steal raptors and roam pre-6 was stupid strong.

Anon the arpen nerfs are because tank itemization was changed to have more resists and less HP, so if armour pen remained the same in strength tanks would have less effective hp than before.

The armour that the squishies ARE building wasn't changed in the tank update, so squishies have the same amount of armour and health pre and post-cleaver changes. The cleaver changes themselves were made to accommodate the fact tanks are going to have more armour and less hp. So against tanks cleaver has been a lateral shift, while against squishies it's a proper nerf because they have the same armour and HP post-cleaver changes. If GA, Tabi and zhonya got more Armour in the tank update you'd have a point.

Aurelion Sol has more built in counter play to his kit than any other champ.

His passive can't hit up close, if it's CCd it goes away, he can not hide in bushes with it up and can not turn it off. You can see Aurelion Sol flying when he uses E and his Q can not be detonated close to him.

I DO NOT understand why this champion has so much built in counter play when he has awful cc without crystal scepter, awful damage, does not scale as a tank, and his W is little more than his passive. If you feel like Sol doesn't have many abilities it's because his passive IS his W, not like other champions that have constant passives PLUS their main passive. I just don't understand.
