The SR uppercut is actually a really good skill for doing pure damage. Works well on Tsu-chan because she already has the utility of her signature move's dash and her ougi will stun lock bosses so you can unload on them.

Just picked up a crystal for Halloween Idun in the Soul Shop for 300 souls, which is the regular price for 3* character soul crystals. Either the shop prices are messed up again or Ateam removed the event character cost increase. I'd been saving up for her after getting Vampire Loki from the Halloween gacha guarantee and thought I still had a ways to go, so that was a nice surprise. Now they just need to do the same with New Year's Vali.

Playing during hot times is best. Try to log in daily- I think the event stamps for a beginner might be a bit much, but if you can stick to it doing the daily gold gems, and slimes. Actually there is just a lot of stuff you can do as a f2p player. you just won't have the 6* big titty team, but there are great looking 3* and 4* star characters.

After you burn through the initial achievements/friend campaign, cubes only really start to become scarce outside of event periods. Here's my experience with them so far

Sayo: Hits like wet paper unless you stack attack equips on her and she'll still be weak compared to others. Super small single target range but has very fast attacks and can do some special combo thing that isnt too good. Ougi is a shield thing, easily worst of the set.

Tsuda: Normal attacks at a normal speed, very normal. Kind of like red haired MC?. Her charge skill is super useful for disposing of problematic mobs like club fucks or the tentacles that kick you, hits very hard too. Ougi locks anything caught on it for a few seconds with continuous damage but can whiff and hit air.

Kou: Similar to tsuda but faster attacks and greatly increased range at the cost of slightly reduced base attack. She moves by sliding on ice and uses that ice to dash to nearby enemies which makes her amazing for wave clearing. Her skill summons icicles around her that damage anything that touches the icicles, lasts a few seconds. Ougi is full screen AOE that will most likely clear it.

Izumi: Lunges a ton. Nearly every normal attack is a lunge. Similar to sayo if sayo didn't suck. Her skill is a downwards slash then upwards slash and her ougi summons illusions that do multiple hits. I felt like all the hits had reduced attack, mine included so I didn't like it much.

Momjigari: Didn't play much so cant say much but has heavy attacks similar to the dragon girl SR. Highest attack out of all the URs but slowest speed.

Does tenka still have the 250 gems for rerolling? I keep putting it off and will end up using sayo

Game's story mode is pretty difficult so you won't be able to breeze through it. Unit rarities don't mean much at lower levels, in my experience enhancing units is biggest issue at that point because you are leveling faster than gaining fodder. You can farm easier stages for fodder or the enhancement simulation when it's up so you can get atleast your dmg stats to cap and evasion for your tank.
Dummy linking is also big at 30,50,70 but cores are pretty valuable to try to link early game 3* units with dupes.
