While you do want multiple copies of good cards, its because dupes are actually useful as sub-card stat boosters.
Sub-cards most effective when element and weapon type are the same, which in a theoretical sense would be easiest accomplished through dupes of the card you're boosting.

That's one of the best skills in the game as far as mob clearing is concerned, it's an aoe.

Izumi is pretty good.

Your equipment is barely passable as you have two SR bracelets which buff attack. Ideally you'd want UR gauntlets and rings but those will do for now.

I'd probably grind and save every free orb you can get and roll in the Tsu-chan banner when it comes around. You shouldn't have problems getting by with what you have right now.

For those wondering about the event items in Tenka:

>UR dash skill
It has a longer range than Tsuda's dash, not sure how the power compares. It's a good skill that's free and can be fully limit broken. If you craft anything from the event, make 4 copies of this skill because we don't know when it will be craftable again.

>UR boots
Adds attack to the character it's equipped on. Base attack is 133 (compare to gauntlets with lvl 1 atk at 190). They have a passive which increases your dash range (when you flick the screen). They're poor man's UR ring and gauntlets, but the advantage they have is that they're free and if you limit break them they'll eventually have a higher atk than lvl 40 (non-LB) rings and gauntlets (not sure what level that would be tho).

>SR necklace
Adds defense. Has a passive which increases the coin reward at the end of the stage by +3%. Necklace passives are stackable and are calculated by 1+0.03n for the coin bonus multiplier. We get 5 necklaces from this event (1 for completing normal and hard modes of all event stages, the other 4 are craftable). If you make these, don't merge them for a limit break as they're way more useful individually when you stack the passive. You can put these on the 2 girls you aren't leading with and don't even need to switch to them to get the coin bonus.

Izumi, Kashuu, and Nagasone get a costume change on the very last stage of the event if they are in your party. Kiku got shafted for some reason. The costumes are not permanent, but mined game data suggests they will be one day.

How does alchemy actually work when summoning people? As for characters you summon, - I assume most of them(except for collab units and main story characters) died somewhere throughout their timeline? Or is it more like Fate, and the characters who Ouroboros made a pact with are granted 'heroic' status and instead of dying they're sitting behind the door waiting to be summoned?

I don't remember if there was much detail on who gets to be a phantom or not. Probably Uroboros' doing or destiny as played by other gods/the divine stones. Iirc, outside of our main characters special powers, there is alchemy that seems to be more outright orthodox raising and binding of the dead and that taboo arts seems to have been Wrathris' thing.

The UBW collab Tagatame characters with F/SN classes seem to have a bit of lore in them that they're mixed up in summoning with a catalyst, they even have all-new voice clips.

Zain, Autima and Setsuna are really the three best rerolls right now since you missed disgaea collab with broken ass Laharl. Zain is tanky, nukes stuff hard and is just stupid strong. Autima is fast, super good utility and his MA is just strong as fuck. Setsuna is cute, fast and very strong as well. Setsuna has the benefit of being able to farm her frags albeit they are on a very late stage. Most people rate the tiering as Zain >= Autima (with MA) > Autima >= Setsuna, amd someone more experienced can correct me if I'm extremely wrong.

They added their own new characters that looked terrible and didn't fit the design, see >>175610676. And they fit even less once the JP characters got their JP art back.

You evo characters by raising their affection, and in JP you get a little story segment each stage. Instead of translating those story bits, global just cut them out.

It ran a lot less events, which is a big source of free gems. Admittedly, I don't know how many events JP was getting when it was at that point. And fewer gems makes it harder to get characters you want.

Never bothered with co-op there, but I heard from others that it was pretty dead. Which makes co-op dependent events difficult.

They did add guilds and some new boss fights for rare drop weapons. Interestingly, those bosses and weapons started showing up in JP way later, so they were probably assets that had been around for a while.
