This. The opening comic got me excited. But then when I played the event for the first time I was so disappointed. There is ZERO characterization of Null Sector. They may as well be grey blocks. They're as fleshed-out an enemy as the terrorists in CounterStrike. All throughout the first comic, one gets a sense that this mission is significant for Overwatch, not just because it's Tracer's first. And yet we don't even get a victory sequence explaining any results.

If we don't get a new comic I will give up the hope I have foolishly held onto that Overwatch might actually have some substance beyond good gameplay and 2D charachters.

Like every popular multiplayer game the majority of players are either horrendous at the game or are massive pricks. Not in the fun banterous way, in the constant incessant shitposting and screeching over the microphone way.

If you can put up with those problems, which you already have if you played games like TF2, Counter Strike or any other popular shooter, then it's a very fun title. It's not exactly innovative and it's certainly not perfect, but it's fun. Ultimately I think that's all that really matters.

I started to main Reinhardt just because every tank I used to play with would stand on the fucking choke point getting his shield down, recharging it after 10 secs and doing the same for 3 mins or so until some of our flankers manages to sneak in


It's a fucking nightmare, now I just tell them, "come with me after I charge" or "get in this room while I cover you with the shield"

Sub numbers had been falling since Cata and plummeted during WoD. Considering that Blizzard is making as much if not more money off Hearthstone, and even Overwatch and HotS, for only a fraction of the effort, my guess is the execs wanted to pull the plug because "WoW is dying" and Legion is meant to be the closing chapter.

I mean if you've played it, you've noticed the finality. They're tying up tons of story threads, including some which had been hanging since fucking vanilla. It even looks like we're putting an end to the Burning Legion. And if Sargeras winds up being the final boss on Argus... Well, it'll pretty much confirm that WoW is done. Combine that with how the leveling experience is super stretched out and the game is chock full of obsolete content and it's looking more and more like they want to end it.

I'm not sure WoW 2 will come however. Like I said, they're making boatloads of money off Hearthstone, Overwatch and HotS for a fraction of the effort required to run a MMO like WoW. But it would make sense for them to try. Hell, setting WoW 2 in the time of the Black Empire would be fucking awesome.

Doomfist will be released at Blizzcon along with an intro cinematic similar to Sombra's reveal set in Numbani featuring Lucio and Orisa. He will be voiced by Terry Crews but not Old Spice Terry Crews.

Doomfist, the villain of Numbani who weilds the Savior and Scourge Doomfists to become the Successor. 300 HP. Most of his abilities knock enemies around.
>L-Shift: Successor (Doomfist switches between either the short range Scourge fists or the long range Savior fists. High cooldown, so you "commit" to the switch when you swap fists)
Scourge mode:
>M1: Melee range punches that do 50 damage and high knockback
>M2: Fire rocket fist forward and grab enemy and pull them towards you. Shorter range than Roadhog's hook
>E: Dash forward and release a flurry of punches ending in a high knockback

But like I said, the whole thing has a feeling of finality, despite the devs promising that WoW is not coming to an end. If you feel like getting back into the game and spending hundreds of hours would be wasted if they announce WoW is ending, then avoid.

As someone who left in Cata and came back in legion, it's still awful.
I had fun for about a month before it quickly became dull.
