Yeah it's pretty important you only end combos with it if the opponent can't get to you during the animation, although I generally can't do the good bors combos yet so i'm not focusing on it too much yet.

I recently tried to do some combos involving 6D > jc jC > jD which do good damage but the timing on the jC is killing me because you have to delay it for a few frames, she has quite a lot of combos which require precise timing like when following up on enchanted 623C > jD which is throwing me off.
