I thought Cora was annoying as a companion because she would use her power to get in my way when I was sniping, her damage wasn't high enough for me to care and cryo ammo only goes so far.

I used Drack a lot, I used Jaal because he had a lot of environment specific dialogue. Kept Liam around sometimes because he normally threw a grenade whenever I told him to attack something and overload was ok.

Wasn't a fan of anything that sent enemies flying because I was normally just going for headshots. Honestly Zap was my favorite if he counts just because I could combo off of him and he was the least intrusive. Didn't feel like any of them did enough damage to be especially useful.

Struggle between Alliance and Batarians is a matter of political influence not 'crowding'. Both quadeyes and humies don't need the contested systems. They can't back down without illusion ( or not ) of weakness. Human colonies are small, only handful of settlements on most of the worlds and planets are usually barely explored. Aside from some bugs it's an amazing game. The combat is now the best in the entire Bioware library and while the story isn't up to par compared to the dynasties of the original trilogy or Dragon age it's only one game so far with a lot of the exposition and answers to come.
