Not bad for a machine that's almost two years old. Probably going to need to replace the video cards (insert 970 memes here) by the time 5.0 comes out, but everything else should be remain relevant for the foreseeable future.

My one complaint though: why does the whole world still run on 5.1 audio? 7.1 is pretty standard, even with on-board sound. And audio systems to support it are extremely cheap. Hell, I've been using a 9.1 channel audio system for years (and fortunately, the receiver is extremely good at up-converting).

On one hand, if they just increased the base potency of Medica and Medica II, then Cure III could be done away with.
On the other, WHM as a class has always had a Cure III/Curaga since FFI. It really wouldn't make sense to just remove an iconic skill from them that has been around since the beginning.

The smartest thing to do would be to offer an alternative function for Cure III, that doesn't outright remove it, nor gives it a redundant use like it does now.

Eh, no. Cure III is an amazing AOE for its range. Having to rely on Overcure (which, along with Freecure, pretty much only procs when I need it the least) to do essentially the same thing is a bad idea.

this is the problem with that idea. if cure 3 is truly unnecessary then just completely remove it. don't somehow bake it into cure 2 with overcure. you're literally making it worse by tying it to an rng proc.

I guess I should say the one problem I have with Fluid Aura is the fact that you have no way of telling which enemies are going to get knocked back. It seems completely arbitrary, and there's even enemies in ARF that are effected by it when you don't expect it. It's good when you absolutely need the knockback though.
