I liked P3 overall but it has some major problems

>95% of s.links are pure garbage
>full moon dungeons should have been longer, tartarus should have been shorter
>amount of enemy designs is pretty low, really should have just milked the demon models instead of making boring shadow chumps
>giant stretches of time where the plot goes on vacation only to check in with you to make sure you remember what it's about then fucking off again
>if you take party control away make team members not awful or at least make status effects land more effectively, marin karin is only a meme because it almost never works

There is more, but I think it could really benefit having a remake on the P5 engine more then others.

Even P2, which is a gamble for Atlus sales wise and is already a game it's fans can enjoy, You'd fix the gameplay in 2 sure, but they'd start tacking on s.links and story revisions and is that what P2fags really want?

What are some changes to P3 you'd like to see if it gets a remake?

I think just copying gameplay mechanics from P5 would be enough. Like you said, make Full Moon Shadow dunegons longer and similar to Palaces while tartarsauce stays as Mentos Lite.

Well, I don't think that's necessarily true. They cared about him in the sense they didn't want him to die and they wanted him to "see the light." But they were never really truly friends with him, because they were aware he was tricking them the whole time. So there really wasn't any genuine connection there. It wouldn't be hard to get over him.
If they bring him back and give him more depth, and he dies again, and THEN they show absolutely no concern, it would be a little weird. As it stands, they have no reason to weep over his death for long.

I'd just like to give my reasoning behind why some people don't find P3 ending too depressing and why some people feel P4's is.

P3 is about death, some people had already dealt with their issues with mortality before playing P3 so it won't effect them as strongly as others.

P4 has a strong days gone by theme to it, and has people reflect on their past which often leads to "what could have been" thoughts.

I personally like both a lot but lean to P4's ending having a greater impact since my father died of a terminal illness in my late teens and not playing persona games till my late 20's

I think I finally figured out what bothered me about the ending, why it felt incomplete.
The evil people beside Shido are still out there, they still have Wakaba's research as well as the data gained from Goro, and given that Joker is still being pursued shows they didn't have a change of heart.
What's to stop this whole thing from starting over again, but instead of a phony detective they start enlisting actual assassins or well trained but morally corrupt police and JSDF soldiers from starting the entire Mental Shutdown scheme again?
