Germany can be a pain in the ass. Small and maneuverable but lowest oxygen of the three.

US has the most rear torps and is the middleground between maneuverability and oxygen.

Japan is huge. Best oxygen, highest damage torps. But because it is huge it is a sizable target when surfaced and can't evade torps as well.However Japan can ram enemy subs without worrying too much.

Well, missiles and carriers will be obsolete once railguns and lasers become mainstream. I can see missiles only being used for tactical inland bombing and carriers being used for AS in areas where an airport is impossible to use/deploy, but we can be sure as fuck no one will be deploying planes over warships with lasers, that's for sure.

Part of it is there isn't any sort of mission for the event. And the free XP rewards from playing the mode would be nice for new players, except the whole

And most of the vets see it as a waste of time since the big reward is global XP, but less than a normal match at higher tiers.

So those who would play it cant, and those who can play it, don't.

US has fast aiming and faster shell travel time like a guy said above. And don't make that great of spotters when they're in a match of BB's and they are the 'light ship' and no DD's are present.

That said, Japanese cruisers tend to have better radar so they can spot either for their team, or themselves, more efficiently than US if a DD wasn't available in a match.

I only have T6 US CA so things could change

Working on Yamato. Wikipedia lists it as having 4x3 155mm secondaries but I can only find schematics of 2x3.

Look at the ingame model of T9 Yamato. Pre-AA rework Yamato had 4x3 secondaries, post-AA buff has 2x3, that's why you are getting mixed schematics/info.

That was an American gunnery test. Think they were shooting flat against the turret roof. The blank shell penetrated, flew off and was never found.
