The game does this thing where it reveals a lot of information to the player without the main characters knowing, like all those scenes with the SIU director sitting up in his office being evil.

So basically, you end knowing who the villains are and what's going on even when the characters are sitting around wondering about it, like you already know that the bad guys set up the whole thing with Medjed and tried to defame the Phantom Thieves, and the main characters don't figure it out until way later. Watching them sitting around speculating when you already know what's going on was pretty frustrating for me.

And funnily enough, even though the game tells the player a lot of stuff without the main characters knowing, the big twist is that the main characters knew something the player didn't, cause you're getting most of the story through Joker's drug induced haze.

I just don't like that kind of storytelling, even though the story wouldn't have really worked if they didn't do that.
