So I have a question about Sengoku Rance. I'm currently on my third run, turn 35, trying to get into the Isoroku Route. I'm not there yet, I've only broken 3 gourds so far: Oda, Takeda and Ashikaga. I know that all the events that trigger the if routes start when I break the fifth one.

I'm on war against Houjou, Dokuganryuu (I used the family as bonus at the start of the game), and recently the Tenshi sect declared war as well (I guess because I made Ashikaga surrender).

I'm using SpoilerAl to make all the purple events I have available each turn, among other things: make sure to capture a command I want, take more than one action with my characters so I negotiate Development and I have enough NP for the generals, get stat books and affection items when I run out of them, that's about it. I've made the "Visit Honnouji" event twice, now I'm firing it a third time (I believe it's the third time) and it asks me what to do with Shizuku (aka Senryuu): either "touch her boobs" or "hit on her".

It's NOT Yukihime, I know that if I touch Yukihime's boobs then Asai Asakura declares war, but this time, disregarding what I chose, nothing happens at all. I'm worried that it might mean something in a few turns and I have to go back again, which happens more often than I'd like. What should I chose?

Shade is overrated imo. He's really good but people seem to venerate him like he's impossible to top. Probably because he did the music for the best Rance games. But that doesn't mean his music is necessarily the best.

Personally I think one of the strengths of IX's soundtrack is its range. There are all kinds of songs that make you feel many different things. This really fits well with the game because each scene is compartmented into its own "gear", so having the music drastically change can really help change your mood to fit the scene.

The main flaw in my opinion is the final boss theme which is underwhelming to me. Just like the final boss itself. But it's practically a Mamatoto remake so I guess it can't be helped...

There's an option in every province you conquer that allows you to increase your National Power (but it has to be a conquered house, it cannot be a vassaled house). I'm spamming that a lot to make room for the recruits. Each province starts with a custom NP, from 1 to 6. You have a blue event, the very first one, which is "Province name: Development (Increase national power)". And at the left it tells you how much it cost with construction to do that. It's going to be current NP * 3. That is, if the province currently has a NP of 3, it's going to cost 9 to update it to 4. I have all of my provinces with a NP of 9.
