I'm up against goldies all the time and they're pretty much the same as bronze or silver. Anyone with an okay game knowledge and half-decent mechanics can reach gold, don't act like it's high elo or anything. The best part is when they look me up on their little lol apps, see that I'm unranked and get cocky thinking I'm a pushover or something, they always get cucked hard (it helps that nobody below plat knows how powerful fiddlesticks can be).

Plat players are generally better than me though, so I'm sure I'm not on that level yet. Gold, however, is trash, I would legitimately feel ashamed if I had a gold frame. That just means you're pointlessly being a tryhard, playing ranked when you can't even go above shit-eater elo like gold.

Why would you think that? I get why someone who plays ranked could be better than someone who plays normals (notice 'could', not necessarily 'would') but at the end of the day you're still playing the same game, using the same knowledge trying to improve the same mechanics. I'm certainly a million times better than when I started playing League like a year ago and I've only ever played a a dozen ranked games. I made an acc on EUW 6 months ago and tried my placements just for fun and got S3 which I thought perfectly reflected my skill level at the time, do you mean to say that during those 6 months playing normals I couldn't have improved at the game at all?

Anyway, personally I don't see a point in playing ranked if you can only reach gold whilst trying your hardest, you'll get bronze-gold quality of gameplay on normals anyway, what's the point in identifying as one of the three?

That is not how it is in blind pick either, though, I don't know how mmr works in normals but I'm always up against or with golds and plats who certainly don't feel like they don't care at all. Sejuani needs it. Her old kit is very easy to play and as a result meant in the past she was almost always in the 50-53% winrate range on ease of use alone. She's now at 47% which for a champ with such a low skill ceiling is abysmal. They could have just buffed her numbers, but I think the rework will make her a lot more interesting to play and stronger too.

Zac was more change for change's sake. The other tanks they were considering for updates at midseason didn't work out. That said, his new Q is great and the Ult is potentially really powerful even if it feels a little weird right now.
