Has DE's netcode gotten worse lately? I haven't been able to connect to a game for the last day. I tried doing LoR with two groups and got host migration messages each time I tried to connect, even after exiting the game. During the last month or so my DC rate has also been extremely high.

Is there some other method of researching which relics drop where? I want to get my hands on the Vectis Prime but the wiki says all its relics have been vaulted.

that's a terribly stupid assumption to make; like I said, I'm sure there could be something wrong with DE's netcode, but that really sounds characteristic to me of specific regions or ISPs or whatever getting shafted by shitty routes or whatever, ie, a big fucking network issue

there's a big lonstanding network sleek (this one is pretty assuredly just bad netcode) wherein 1/4 people in the squad (1/3 clients) will be the "runt" of the litter and not receive traffic the way they need to or at a reduced rate making their ping go crazy and they'll rubberband all around or get high cpu usage while some single thread is waiting (can happen to the host in this case too), and I still notice it happen occasionally (easier to see when you're host and can monitor your connections, less unique from general shitty network conditions but still noticeable when you're the client getting fucked)

it would of course help if DE would actually work on handling these situations gracefully, but just look at what they do with raids (leave progress stoppers and game enders like what you describe intact for sometimes years, remove common sleeky workarounds within days of reporting)

I had one of the best/worst ideas for a 'frame today.

You know how Vauban and Ivara have rotating abilities? I was thinking of a 'frame composed almost entirely of rotating abilities.

1, 2, and 3 would focus on Primary, Secondary, and Melee. Options would be fire rate (blue), damage (red), crits (yellow) and status (purple), and each would provide a flat base buff before all other calculations. It would cost energy to activate your boosts the first time, but they would persist for no additional energy fee thereafter. Your 4 would provide a variety of effects depending on what your colours were set to, all affects channeled. Odd rotations uniformly double the effects for you and provide an aoe buff for teammates at half strength. Matched sets provide unique effects.

All Red (Damage) would spawn three additional spectres, invulnerable for as long as you channel the ability, with increased threat ratings. Each one would use one of your weapons. While channeling, you can rotate your abilities for no additional fee to adjust the spectres, but you will be locked in to All Red for the duration of the ability.

All Blue (Fire Rate / Attack Speed) would make projectile weapons hitscan, charging weapons instantaneous, and allow melee attacks to simply warp you to enemies in a short range or, if you target one specifically within a Peacemaker-like circle around your reticule, warp you at long distance, in addition to adding multishot, even to melee (after-images coloured in your energy colour will repeat the attacks you just did).

All Yellow (Crits) will deploy a field around you. For every crit achieved by someone within that field, chance and damage increase for all parties within. Energy drain increases with bonus strength.

All Purple (Status) would add +100% status chance to all your weapons, and Critical Status which would, depending on the status, increase damage, range, and/or apply multiple times. Fire would stack, for instance.

There's really no reason to go back on Starchart once you finish it out. People grind credits on Index or Akkad, Sedna has Hydron or Berehynia. Missions that do "bring you back" are separated from the base mission with Void Fissure modifiers and Nightmare mode modifiers, or Kuva. If all of these were just rolled onto starchart and people could queue in not knowing they were about to be hit by an unknown Kuva siphon it could be pretty fun but ultimately not rewarding.

Bosses and certain level Spy vaults can have some public parties fairly consistently, because Spy2.0 mods are worth grinding for and Ivara exists, and bosses can be consistently frustrating with rng part drops.

Embrace the solo gameplay though, it's fun.

Afaik, spore will collect a percentage of the sum of all toxic procs on the target at once, and then spread that when the spores are popped. Gas proc is an AOE that procs toxin that deals 500% base Toxin damage on wep over 9/10 seconds, so you want a proc going on an enemy before you spore them I think, otherwise just spam gas and cross your fingers some of the damage carries and spreads.

When was the last time Baro had Primed Point Blank? Want one but would rather not spend plat. Probably will if he doesn't have it this time around tho.
