If you aren't getting hit, hp is a useless stat. The only values of hp that matter (for the most part) are 0 and greater than 0. While it's not a clear upgrade to Union, there are definitely people who will want to use this considering there are people running around with Whitill that now have the option of not dying when the wind blows in exchange for -7 PP. Personally I probably wont use Qliphad, but that's mainly because of the massive fuse cost I would much rather spend on weapons. If that weren't an issue though I would definitely consider moving my force set to Qliphad. I break 200PP on Force already but you can never have too much.

Something else to keep in mind is Union has +8% total striking resist while Qliphad is +5% which dwarfs the minor defensive stat gain Qliphad has.

What am I supposed to WB on Esca Ragne when they're on the tower, and sat cannon? I see Rangers do it often but am too busy attacking the leg as a different class to check.

There is absolutely no reason to play outside expert blocks if you can get in, you can only imagine how bad the pubs are outside of them. Ship 2 isn't nearly as bad at Deus as the shitters in here are saying, my last one had 3:30 left on the clock when Zephyros died.
