I'm about 15 hours into the game, is there a better scope you can get for a sniper rifle? Because enemies render at about 200 m for me and having no way to account for bullet drop besides guess and check after 100 m is really fucking annoying.

Yeah, you can definitely notice it. Go to Kadara and look for a base to pick people off. You'll notice the rangefinder at the top of the scope turns red past 100m, and anything you shoot with the reticle on target won't hit, only if you aim above it. I've made a few mental markers about where to place the reticle for targets ~120m, but after 150m there isn't any real way to account for it.
