I've been playing Competitive recently, winning and losing some games, slowly climbing up with SR, nothing too fancy.
Yesterday, a friend wanted to play with me (he had about as much SR as I did) and we lost every single game.
He wasn't that bad, sometimes had Play of the Game, but in the end I lost 300 SR in the process of playing Competitive with him.

How? Is the matchmaking fucked up when premades enter or what kind of sorcery happened?

The only problem in this mode is tanks, because all you need to do as a tank is not get killed and you can easily steamroll the enemy if you get another tank on your team.

As for the rest, dive in when the enemy squishies are relatively alone, land on them and pop the barrier then zap them to death. Go in with a Genji or other fast DPS for best results, and always prioritize the healers, especially that rezz bitch Mercy.

HOWEVER, if the enemy team has a lot of non-squishes or a Reaper, use someone else. Winston is useless against other tanks, Bastion, and Reaper. Also be wary of Torb, his turrent is painful and his armor packs fuck over Winston's damage like nothing else.
