Warrior is cancer. Rogue is cancer.
>>174678487
That's a nice posterior

What does a non-cancerous class look like?
4th for Pepe
>>174678487
>I was only 9 years old
>I loved Tirion Fordring so much, I had all the golden paladin cards and portrait
>I pray to Tirion every night before bed, thanking him for the wins I've been given
>"Tirion is love" I say; "Tirion is life"
>My dad hears me and calls me a shieldbearer
>I know he was just jealous of my devotion for Tirion
>I called him a scrub
>He slaps me and sends me to go to sleep
>I'm crying now, and my face hurts
>I lay in bed and it's really cold
>Suddenly, a warmth is moving towards me
>It's Tirion
>I am so happy
>He whispers into my ear "Put your faith in the light"
>He grabs me with his powerful paladin hands and puts me down onto my hands and knees
>I'm ready
>I spread my ass-cheeks for Tirion
>He penetrates my butt-hole
>It hurts so much but I do it for Tirion
>I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water
>I push against his divine shield
>I want to please Tirion
>He roars in a mighty roar as he fills my butt with his light
>My dad walks in
>Tirion looks him straight in the eyes and says "don't test me child"
>Tirion leaves through my window
>Tirion is love. Tirion is life.

It's whatever he's playing
>>174679002
Pally is more cancerous than Mage.
>>174678948
Stop being a scrub calling everything good 'cancer'. It's not cancer deck like pirate warrior or freeze mage.

Stop fucking with me anon.

What determines how a deck is cancer?
Or is it just a deck you don't like?

How much fun and interactive burn and face damage it can dish out from hand.
Anyone have the latest taunt warrior list? Is it still tier 1? Should I DE my golden mosh to craft the epics?
>>174679382
Then I guess Secret pally was never cancerous since it could deal out 0 burn and or face damage from hand aside from True Silver.

>>174679187
If it's cheap and effective, the big spending whales start screeching.
Whenever you hear "control meta" or "interaction", what they really want is to play their 15K dust deck with a 60% win rate. It really pisses them off that a few hundred dollar deck is worse than a F2P 900 dust one. They want their money's worth.
>>174679545
Yes. And it has a 30% winrate while Pally has a 55% winrate.

What?
>>174679706
No it's the fact "cheap" decks playstyle consists of vomiting your hand and targeting the opponents face.
There's been brief moments where control warrior and other slow decks have been meta defining but those were very short lived. It's been 90% flood and go face for the games lifespan and it's just so boring.

WELL MET
>>174678905
rexxar has always been a noble class. especially underhunter
>>174679706
I'm not defending Bliz blatant jewery but don't you guys think that metas with expensive tier 1 and the topdog decks were more diverse historically? WotOG meta was more diverse before cheap dragon warrior and shaman was figured out. When the best deck is expensive less people can make it and therefore its obvious counters are less popular too. Huntertaker and Pirate Warrior metas were absolutely garbage. One exception to this rule is cheap Patron Combo from BRM.

>>174680697
well silence and freeze effects are neutral and cheap so from there all you'd need to do is play angry chicken in a class that can reliably increase its health to enrage it: priest, hunter, druid, and paladin
priest seems the most likely candidate
>>174680697
step 1: commit suicide for making such a retarded card

Pls Blizzard I'm begging you
>>174680446
Complex and Timmy-friendly decks? Maybe. Diverse? Absolutely not, there is no correlation. Reminder that release was just loldruid
so I've fought nothing but hunters, warriors and rogues for the past 20+ games
can anyone recommend me some decks that can reliably fight these classes? currently playing elemental mage and not having much success (rank 9)
>>174680979
>>174681098

This is impossible with 10 mana in one turn, if you include playing the Angry Chicken. Maybe if you already have the Angry Chicken on the board beforehand it might be possible, but as I see it it's not.
>>174681435
if you're going to get legend now is the best time because of how easy it is with how shit is going

Midrange Shaman is in the place it was before he became Green Jesus, the midrange deck that beats all other midrange decks but loses to everything else, his aggro matchup is good though.
I've been trying to play Jade and Concede shaman but I just can't seem to win against priest or Warrior and it frustrates me so much, I already know the bottom right corner is the best play against Rogue
>>174681887
>complaining about the most honest class and calling it cancer
Pathetic
>>174681984
>>174681856
/dng/ here:
It's not super broken anymore because it was only strong with another card. It removed all cards on the field and in both players hands, and then you just played this afterwards, hit the opponent, and it would then return to your hand at the end phase. Since they were left with no hand, you could just keep summoning it and essentially you would win the game.
The original other card it was paired with got errata'd so it's not really super broken anymore. It could come back at 3 and not really do anything.
>>174682075
>Most honest class
Fuck off pally cancer
>>174681984
ANSWER.
MY FUCKING.
QUESTION.
>>174681856
What do you mean? You can attack the turn you summon something and can only hit face with no minions on board, so you keep board control and he can never draw again.
>>174682124
Its exactly what it would be like in Hearthstone. Returns to the hand at the end of the turnhas charge, and if you hit the enemy hero they don't draw a card at the start of their next turn.
>>174682116
Nope
>>174682154
seems p neat. so it basically resets the entire game aside from HP?
>>174681856
this card can not be pulled randomly from your deck by effects. Charge (all yugioh cards have this except turn 1 going first). whenever this minion deals damage to your opponent they skip their next draw. return this minion to your hand at the end of your turn.
or simply: if your opponent has no playable cards they won't draw one for the rest of the game and you just win
>>174682235
I think it might be worth putting in that it can't attack unless your opponent has no minions on board.
>>174682231
Of course the cancer won't fuck off why else would it be called cancer.
>>174678786
well met
>>174682313

>>174682234
Yes but the graveyard being filled is incredibly important for some decks in YGO!, it is the epitome of being toxic and game breaking and will be banned forever
Example of a (non cancer) control deck that runs off interacting with the Graveyard, I hate Lightsworn so much
how much money have you spent on this fucking game
>>174682450
I've pre-ordered every expansion and adventure

>>174682450
$175 and I've only ever bothred grinding out legend once
>>174682450
I spent like 200 from beta to GvG then I realized this game was shit and have been coasting on Gold from GvG till now.
This game has cock teased me for long enough.
I've been one win away from rank 13 TEN FUCKING TIMES TODAY.
And then there's always something retarded like shitty draw or a stall deck.
>>174682450
5 Euro on the welcoming bundle.
>>174682450
Somehow I've spent nothing. I've spent a few hundred on League and another hundred or so on another F2P game but Hearthstone I am content with just having what they give out.
>>174682647
It's ok anon, I was Rank 8 legend earlier today, then I lost to a pirate warrior because I drew the only 5 cards in my deck that cost more than 3 in my opening hand.

There are tons of Control Priests running MC right now, I'm now jamming only Murloc Pally, Quest Rogue, Pirate Warrior and Secret Hunter because of it.

Ozruk's text is wrong. If you play stone sentinel the turn before, it counts as 3 elementals, and he has 15 health, so it should read "Gain +5 health for each Elemental you SUMMONED last turn"
God fucking DAMMIT Blizzard, you get such a tight fucking asshole over things being easy and intuitive, then you fuck up on shit like this.
>tfw the perfect curve with the perfect cards when your opponent has no answers
Feels pretty damn good desu.
>>174684307
>it counts as 3 elementals, and he has 15 health
It should've been 20 Health then
>>174683896
>until the end of your next turn
I should hope. Otherwise, playing that on turn 2 makes your here invincible to everything but swipe and baron gedon for the rest of the game, unless you willingly attack.
>>174684307
but you didnt summon those elemental. stone sentinel did
the proper text would be "for every elemental summoned during your last turn"
Do you think this deck is worth using? I just threw it together.
Should I not even bother?
>>174684367
Oh, hm... did I play a firefly? I'm a little drunk, I apologize.
>>174684412
By that logic, call in the finishers wouldn't trigger the murloc quest, because the spell summons them, not you. Primalfin Totem wouldn't, either. Or Tidehunter scout what the fuck, the 2/1 that summons the 1/1.

>>174684561
>playing casual
>not expecting concedes at mulligan
Casual mode is garbage, players leave the moment they think they'll lose, won't complete the daily or concede just to reduce their MMR so they get to curb stomp noobs. Since they're such babies, if they see quest rogue they'll squeal "OP netdeck!" and ragequit.
>>174685025
Muster for Battle
>>174685025

>>174684419

Barnes and Wrathion really aren't that bad though, it's a 6 mana 4/5 taunt cycle or vanilla stats in 2 minions. Not constructed tier (for the former), but not bad. Warlock is also very mediocre in arena now compared to him being the king in MSG, it's Rexxar Valeera Uther all day
>>174686001
wtf is that abomination?
>>174681607
>>174684570
>>174685649

>>174686123
And it completely destroys combo decks*

>he instantly concedes before his turn ends
After such a long fucking match he just concedes instead of letting me kill him. I was going to concede you nigger
>rope pirate warrior
>he concedes

Is there a more universal quest?
Zoo is as good as it's ever been, Pirate Warrior just kills it.

While this is patently false, it's not MSG Hunter bad at all. Just overshadowed by zoo druid, the superior and more fun zoo deck.

That's what I'm saying, the deck isn't the worst but its powerlevel is too uneven. I made a big autistic post about it last thread, it breaks the flowchart and for that reason it might be a buster.
I've actually still been trying to make Jade Shaman work with Spirit Echo shenanigans because I like the deck. Not the best, will report if I can make it Great Again

Hail, friend.
>>174688903
Any card could become good with future expansions, look at Stonetusk Boar for christ's sake. I find it unlikely that they'll add amazing cards like Steed that are also low cost to the Paladin lineup. I mean it's Blizzard so it's possible, but I doubt it.
Lakkari Sacrifice could be good if they create a really good discard card. For example, they could create "discard 1 card from your hand" and let you choose it, and multiple types of those cards, in the next expansion. Who knows?
>>174688763
My original point was that paladin may become the new dominant cancer (plus freeze mage to counter). The diversity right now is nice and I very much enjoy it, but may Crabs save us all. Doesn't make the decks braindead just because they are better, it just means they are better and it tilts everyone
>>174679706
Any deck with more than 2 legendaries in it is automatically cancer.

I highly doubt they'll revamp discard. But good cheap buffs, that's more in the realm of possibilities.

>>174688903
I don't need a turbo budget deck. I just don't have Thalnos
>>174689295
It's not revamping, it's simply adding discard cards with the ability to choose what you discard. It'd make the deck a lot better. I highly doubt they would release it as well, but again it's Blizzard. I don't disagree with you on that cheap good buffs are more likely to happen, though.
>>174681856
Charge. Whenever this minion attacks the enemy hero, they do not draw a card at the start of their next turn. After this minion attacks return it to your hand.

the one argument I heard that made sense was when I mentioned how annoyed I was that Bloodmage Thalnos was a legendary even though he did nothing unique to make him legendary, and he pointed out that it would be broken if such a card was able to be put in decks in 2s.
So to answer your question, the cards are 'too powerful' to be seen consistently more than once.

>>174692327
Looks like a lot of fun. Shame I don't have Pyros, and definitely not crafting it
Hoping to unpack it or something
>>174693058
Besides, even when playing a discard-heavy deck you will need to tap hard to get enough cards, leaving you with shit-all for hp in endgame. You will also need to forget playing powerful cards when they're the only ones in your hand, because you need them to discard something. That means that as soon as you empty your hand you will need to essentialy pay 2 mana and 2 hp every turn to add 1 to the quest counter instead of drawing a card. the only time I ever managed to complete the quest was in heavy control matchups with less than 10 cards remaining in my deck and less than 10hp remaining on my face.
Even if the portal was summoning doomguards rogue quest would still be better.
>>174693160
Here you go, bluegill is probably the weakest card in the deck though, so you should probably switch it for one darkshire/bilefin.
>>174693348
>Even if the portal was summoning doomguards rogue quest would still be better.
I think that's going too far desu
Also my most successful games I've finished the quest on turn 5, it's all about drawing imp and librarian early to keep your hand filled. Imp into librarian into soulfire into lakkari felhound into doomguard, the imp somehow stayed alive through all that and just kept drawing
>>174693459
I think it would, since the portal summons at the end of your turn, wasting charge, while rogue can drop 2+ charging 5/5s and then bounce them back for more.
>>174693662
I mean yeah definitely the charge is wasted but it's two 5/7's every turn
I think you're right in the sense that it would be somewhat worse than rogue but it could be used as something along with jaraxxus or instead of him, since if you complete the quest it fills the same role as jaraxxus but without lowering your health to 15
Also there's the deathwing play, I think.
What do you think? Would it still be bad? I think it would be at the very least playable
Why is every single deck in this shit game some non-interactive cancer?
>play taunts until your hero power wins the game
>play shit and hit face until you win
>play nothing until you can dump you hand of zero cost spells and draw twelve cards in the process
>>174693894

>>174693894

>>174693894

>>174693894

Yeah, for building a (non-playable) collection. That's about it. And let's shut this entire lie down right now. You're not going to ever open enough packs that muh 90 dust ever actually happens. >>174704643

then what's your point? I thought the point was to open enough packs with money here.
>>174705213
This is the last reply I'm spending on this. If you don't get it, that's on you. If all players open an average of X cards, which makes each pack worth Y dust, but MOST players open MANY fewer packs than that, and the open rate for epics and legends skews in favor of more pack openings (we know it does), then people who open MORE than X packs on average are going to have a higher dust worth per pack and people who open less (most players) are going to have packs worth LESS than X, now aren't they?
>>174705121pay players
>>174705468
anon that's not how averages work
>>174704528
That's what I figured, the question really is what is the best thing to replace them with. I agree with reynad's idea that the deck is basically an aggro-combo deck and wants to have a low curve that can cuck aggro decks and cheese control decks. So I thought PotF and tar creeper would be good but idk, I've also considered stuff like nesting roc (costs 5 but it's a 4/7 and has a high probability of getting taunt in a deck like this with cheap high health minions). I've also wondered how hard to go in on taunt effects (sunfury/argus) vs. how hard to go into silence effects (songstealer/spellbreaker).
There's an obvious core to the deck but the last like 4-6 cards are interesting to consider. I really don't like acolyte of pain, I like the idea of blademaster (another cheap phat ass minion) but I hate having another spell in the deck requiring a different combo than silence, but I like playing more aggressively stated minions especially ones that are good on their own.
Something like this maybe? Part of me wants to just drop the taunt givers entirely in favor of silence minions and just being more aggressive instead of expecting to lock out aggro, but part of me wants to lock out aggro so idk. Songstealer is a nice body on top of it's effect and silence can be really powerful in this format on even enemy minions, so wanted to try it without the taunt givers.
This card should have been moved to the "Hall of Fame" along with Azure Drake and Sylvanas.
Try to prove me wrong. Protip: You can't.
After 1 week of ungoro as a f2p player and no legos after 30 packs I'm feeling burned out.

I've often thought HS would be a great thing to recommend to people who go to Gambler's Anonymous. You can basically get the same emotional rollercoaster in HS but without losing your kid's college fund in vegas.
If you want to consider HS from a psychological analysis viewpoint, you should research gambling in general. The nice thing about HS is you can do it all for free, or at least for very cheap. Arena is way more satisfying imo because when you "roll high" you actually get something significant for your win, so it's a lot more fun gambling-wise. Ladder is just a grind to get 400 free dust pretty much, grind with a good enough deck.

Is the esports scene worth getting into in this game or is it just dominated by gooks?
>>174711523
>esports scene
>>174711523
its dominated by streamers , if you arent one of the good ol boys dont bother
streamers get invited to every tournament even when they are shit and skip qualifying stanges
so everyone thinks streamers are pros because they play in ever tournament
>>174711523
If you like E-sports that consist of 80% RNG and 20% skill then this si the game for you.
>>174711665
>hearthstone
>20% skill
>>174711523
Grind until you consistently reach high legend ranks at the end of the season, and you'll eventually be invited to a tournament I think. From there on it's just luck, tech decisions, matchups and even more luck that determines if you'll win or not.
>>174711523

Dunno why, just feel like "what could have been" kind of feeling - this game is utter fucking garbage right now. Facing the exact same decks and classes over and over is just so boring and repetitive, and all the same combo 4-5 turn kill bullshit.
Honestly, fuck this game - what's worse is, I have just 1400 dust, and can't even craft anything worth playing anyway.

If you have the cards for it you can make an actual fun deck.
>>174703483
Yeah, the game is so good right now because its almost a sequel. Hall of Fame got rid of all the shit you'd see over and over, tons of old cards are gone and admittedly Blizzard did a good job of adding a lot of cool new cards in Ungoro.
>>174706425
I am pretty sure we're just going to have to split the country in half if Trump beats Chelsea Clinton in 2020 lol
>>174711523
Well honestly all people want out of sports is money and friends and you can get both for being a great and personable player. Its still rare to mix both so you could maybe break in.
Is Violet Teacher still good in Miracle rogue? I feel like having something to play on turn 4 that syncs with the rest of the common miracle rogue deck is pretty good, I feel like I lose games because i dont do anything the first few turns

>>174716091
I agree.
>>174716051P-please no bully
>>174715774
Class cards can't be compared, Innervate is a Ramp card while Coin is meant for activating combos/gadgetzan fuel
Mage has good damage-dealing spells while Warrior's initial design was being damaged and bearing through to deal crazy damage, hence why their Classic Lego is an Enrage: +6.
Murlocs are a tribe designed around continuous buffing of the horde into an unstoppable board state[flamestrike noises]while Pirates have their synergies with Weapons and the existence of other "crew mates", fellow pirates. You'll notice that cards like Ship's Cannon and Patches revolve around the summoning of pirates, and the general pirate thing is an effect when it hits the board, rather than an aura effect. Various murlocs have aura effects and that's their thing.
Of course there are murlocs with battlecries and such but they are primarily based on buffing minions, not weapons. Outliers always exist.

Imagine if side-deck/board existed in Hearthstone. Cards like that would be fine if countering them was less frustrating.
>>174720862
Nope. The way blizzard designs their cards with single cards being straight up counters, they will never implement it. It is possible for tournaments to do it, players being allowed to change their decklist from a pre-tournament decided side-board but that is not implemented. Why? Cause allowing tech cards straight up invalidates decks.
>>174721052
So? it happens in pretty much every other tcg, like how macrocosmos straight up kills dark world decks.
>>174721180
There are already limited decks in HS. Adding side boards will make the viable decks even less. Blizzard will never allow it.
>HS using sideboards
You have to keep in mind that this is designed first as a mobile card game, and so they simplify as much as they cant. Yes it might be fine with some proper balancing of said tech cards and whatnot, but it wont happen simply because they want to keep the UI at a minimum. The less clicking and thinking, the better.

They kind of went all out with the legendaries, which can be even harder in shadowverse than hearthstone since you need at least two of the same in a decent deck. 10/10s immune to death (can't be targeted by spells or lose health only stat changing effects can stop it) literal "win the game" cards, it just kind of made me realize that unless I had been incredibly lucky in my pack openings (which I was I got 6 legendaries in 20 packs [although not the good ones]) or spent a ton of money, I would never have a decent deck,at least in hearthstone I already had my sets and dust.
