I'm glad Sheena is getting attention since I do think she is alot better than people used to give her credit for, but she's still has all the weaknesses armors have. She just has the benefit of being able to do something the other armors can't do.

Even with all the armor buffs, those weaknesses don't go away. They're actually amplified because you're running a mostly armor team

They can, but im going to give you my honest opinion, I started with Lyn +spd -res, rolled neutral lucina in my 5th day playing, and rolled +hp -def ryoma last month, Lucina was for my most time playing my main red unit, Lyn was ok, but loli tiki and nowi were super common at the time and my only decent mage was a 4* Nino and Cecilia, I absolutely couldnt leave home without my lucina, then SI happened and buffed Ninos or Julias with dancers started messing my shit up, my rebecca is -res and Lucina was struggling to survive hits from then, her lack of range was making me face very tight matches, where I couldnt let them get close to me or else I was risking a death, its very hard for her to compete for a slot in my teams when Cecilia cant deal with green mages and my only other possible counter is a -res +hp 4* Lilina, maybe if you have a differrent string of circumstances then Lucina can be of value, but as it stands, I let ryoma deal with those pesky fury ninos and g tomebreaker Julias, and let cecilia(michalis and linde/effie deal with the dragons

Seriously, I restarted the map 5 times now - how you guys do this?

Corrin alone can survive attack from dark mage, sure - but two of them located near middle will rush the moment you get in range of either, as well as paired swordsman with wyrmslayer. Corrin then can kill both mages with Azura help (wipe in single turn - sing - attack second one) but it still leaves paired up mercs AND two mages that spawn nearby when enemy moves in. Movement range of your units is too low to run out mages attack range.

Finally, since Vantage is active he's been in combat and very likely has Dragon Fang active, at which point he's first-striking at ~60 damage (no lower than 40 against thinks like MRobin), which literally kills everything. The only problem becomes Faye specifically due to her Weapon disabling counterattacking...not that it matters since Ryoma fucks her on the Player Phase anyway.

tl;dr
yeah I've got Ryoma and the common Fury3/Vantage is more than enough to kill everything except SPECIFIC blue mages using Dire Thunder or buffed Blades. He's a spectacular Red Sword. Xander is coming, as a cavalier, with a Distant Counter weapon, too, you know? All that extra movement and likely on a cav meme with buffs.

Lucina is fine second-fiddle, but Ryoma is the better unit.
