Raynor will always live the most tragic story of any assassin in hots. He was always kind of bad except for one patch where they gave him tons of Q talents and he started to have decent burst on top of his AA. They then nerfed it the very next patch, now to forever live as a shitter who will always be outclasses by tychus or valla.

Flamestrike is a greedy nuker build. Fine if you can stack up Convection before 10, but falls off later.

He's a mage that is unique because he discourages enemy teams to clump up, so rely on empowered Living Bombs to deal your poke damage and not Q spam. It's more mana efficient and ends up doing more damage to clumper teams and tight passages.

Kael'thas is difficult to position correctly to play, so try getting used to playing Mana Addict especially in QM, it solves half your problems and doesn't punish you for dying early.

Also, Pyroblast is an -okay- ult to use now, but don't target heroes that have a chance to survive through it with defensives. Target healers and stray DPS with it, not tanks with spell shields.

Can someone give me a quick rundown on this 2.0 shit?

I actually enjoyed the game more than the other mainstream mobas but the jewery surrounding heroes/skins and fucked ranked system ultimately put me off, is any of this stuff fixed already/getting fixed?

2.0 is basically the Overwatch loot system for HotS, all heroes will be free for a month after 2.0 hits and Blizzard is giving you a bunch of heroes for only 100 gems. All skins are now separate items you need to buy instead of a skin with 3 tints and a theres a new progression system.

New ranked system, bunch of free heroes ( not just the bundle, but nexus challenge and other stuff. Also from lootbox). You can also get every cosmetics in the game free from loot boxes which you get from levels. ( levels come much easier now and no level cap)

She's in the same place she's been for a year. A second support with slightly high damage than other supports that is good against diving melee assassins. The recent buffs only make her slightly better at doing that.

That being said, she does great as a second support which looks like Blizzard is changing supports out of healing and into utility and damage, so could become relevant.

Firebats would be fun, flamethrower short range AoE attack with burn over time.
Vikings, being ground and air units.
ideally both of them could have had an Ultimate that would change their status.
vikings go aerial, get increased range, vision and shoot rockets.
Firebats turn into the cars, get more range but lose AoE and become more fragile.

both of these Starcraft 2 units would have made fun HOTS heroes.

I never played this very much, but the new patch has me interested. Can anyone help answer a few questions for me?

Do I keep the heroes I had unlocked/bought?
Should I spend this gold on anything before the patch happens?
Which mega-bundle should I get? I've only played this MOBA and the only hero I ever spent gold on was Hammer and I played her the most. I was thinking Flex, just for the different options, but I really have no idea.

This game is full of targeted hard counters, the only thing they can hope to do for QM is add another 60 heroes to make the likelyhood of getting hard countered smaller, but because you can't draft you pick ahead of time, you will always and forever either have the better team or get fucked by the better team in QM.

Draft modes are the only escape.

For SOME reason, that's not the case anymore, but it was at one point, and it was nothing but a good change. By doing that same thing, they can at least help cut down on how shitty it is to play specific heroes. Why they even reverted that change is beyond me, they said nothing about it.

This is the issue, for some reason this game feels like it has the worst amount of diamond and master players. It can take 10 + mins for me to get a match and then I'll get queued with plats and sometimes gold or with. The weird way they try to balance mmr is the same as overwatch which sucks. So you are lets say 3k mmr and the opponent is collectively 2.5k mmr
That means you will get several 1.5k mmr people to balance it out who are significant worse. It's god damn stupid.

It's based on what your new total hero level will be, which will most likely be higher than your current hero level. If you want to know what hero level you'll be after the update, there are plenty of spreadsheets online to figure that out. Just google it or something.
