You get to use a huge variety of weapons, all in 3 flavours (arc, fire, bolt), all the tools and 2 of the 3 class specific weapons you get are awesome (HMLB + parasite, tonitrus is kinda boring).

After playing a 10 END build I have to say it's a huge difference between that and 15, or at least it feels like it. I would much rather have 2x HP runes, 1X stamina run and 15 END, rather than 10 END and 2x stamina runes.

It's netcode. There's a slight lag between the movements of another player in relation to your screen, that's why the parrying windown is different in coop and PvP. It happens no matter how good you internet connect is and when it gets worse can lead to stuff like this.

DLC makes the game feel complete, rather than feeling like an addon. I remember laying it on release and was kinda like "is that it?" when I finished the main story, I didn't really touch chalice either because I just thought they were random challenge rooms. All things considered the main story is pretty small in scope.

Like all souls games it was 10x better on launch though, coop and pvp were constant, everywhere. You could also invade any story chalice with absolutely minimal waiting around which was awesome.

My only problem with Micolash is that you can tell that they didn't factor some of the DLC weapons into the chase part of the fight.
And by "some DLC weapons" I mean the Beast Cutter and it's ridonculous reach and impact weight.

There's at least 1 section where he's waiting for you to catch up, but the distance you need to be to him to proc him running the next part is LESS than the distance of a leaping trick R2 or second R2 with the Cutter.

I've noticed that I can get fire, bolt and tempering pretty much anywhere, but the only Arcane ones I've ever had have been from Isz and they're triangle man hates particle man.

Depends entirely on the weapon.

For Hunter's Axe, it's a wide sweeping combo, for Kos Parasite it's a huge damage AoE that uses QS bullets, for the Rifle Spear it's just shooting, and so on.

I'm sorta new to BB, so I have a question concerning split damage.

In Dark Souls 2 split damage weapons were actually pretty good. In Dark Souls 3 split damage was fucking kill yourself my man tier.

There are some split damage weapons that each have their niche build that works for them.
Most non-elemental weapons can be converted to full elemental damage, split isnt really a thing outside of weapons that have it from the get-go. But those cant be converted to full elemental.

They're mostly there to make certain weapons unbuffable, which is a weird design decision in my opinion but it's there. They are, however, not worse than regular weapons and Amy Arm/Burial Blade are all valid weapon options. Toni/Boomhauer are fine but require different gems than the aforementioned two. BoM less so but it has nothing to do with split damage.

Because the Saw Spear is the superior weapon. Nothing comes close in terms of raw functionality. All you ever have to do is put paper, BBP and R1, L1, L1 until you're out of stamina to kill any boss.

How. They aren't fucking ninja's, they are literally the loudest fucking mobs in the game. They LITERALLY sound like a fucking Train taking pork to a slaughterhouse. You can hear them right through the fucking walls as far away as the side route to that area where the Bell-Ringer and the two ambushing Shadows are.

How do you get that fucking far in the game without displaying any level of caution? I mean, he should have noticed them when he was backstabbing the first pig to death if they were that far out on their patrol.
Not only did he then clearly fuck that up, he then decided "yes I can take two pigs in an enclosed space" and took them both on instead of backing off and letting them calm down and pick them off like he should.

When amygdala grabs you, it senses the blood drunk eye and thinks you're one of them, thus sending you to the hunter's nightmare.

Saw spear has all around more useful properties, especially when you take into account that the AR won't be too much different in the end. Spear has serrated bonus in both modes. It has thrust attacks for safe range. It has horizontal sweeping attacks for hitting multiple enemies that are also long range. I believe that it's transform attack from extended back to folded mode is faster than the cleaver's. Also both are serrated and have a very high multiplier. This really makes a large difference for comboing L1s. Some people believe that the spear has slightly longer range in folded mode but I'm not convinced on that. The cleaver's transformed moveset has low multiplier R1s compared to its untransformed R1s. They reach upward, but don't have a ton of range and are not nearly as useful as the spear's extended R1s.
