Open foes is not worth it over consistent damage. It only effects hits you score when your enemy is in an attack animation. So with trading on a hyper armor weapon, it's good. But if you're just using a normal dash r1 weapon then don't bother. It's the best secondary in Ihyll besides flat phys for physical weapons though. Besides maybe atk up at full hp.

It's usually just bbg, sometimes it's different. People still usually state the pass in their post.

I believe the game uses same censoring filters as souls. So you have things like shotacon banned, yet lolicon is free game, "ead" is censored, ho/hot is also banned, etc.

No. I tested this myself with a friend using gems of the same % except one set had open foes and the other didn't. You naturally get bonus damage when you hit an enemy rolling or running or jumping. The open foes effect only adds to counter hits. A counter hit is when you hit your enemy while they are on the last half of their attack animation and slightly afterwards. It is kind of a tight window on most attacks. It is a really good bonus, but I would not take it over higher consistent damage across all attacks. It is good for nourishing and cold gems which receive a bonus for no penalty unlike tempering gems.

There is no right hand rifle. The Rifle Spear is two-handed, your only option is the Reiter in tricked form. You could switch between a Pistol and the Cannon, that would probably work the best.

I generally tend to shit out a new character when my last one has reached a certain point in the game.

I browse /bbg/ at night and try to get inspired into creating a background for my character that I want to make. My next character is probably going to be a Tomb Prospector that's hired by the Healy Wheely Church to excavate lost artifacts. In that run I'll try to pretend the Church is still an active institution and I'll mostly spelunk in chalices and try to help other scholars to do the same.

Gonna use mostly Church gear and Tomb Prospector shit.

Okay so Glyph 98f2evzy (Isz) had a Lost Threaded Cane on the 1st floor, a Great Lake (5%) Rune, and Amygdala dropped a Cursed Nourishing Abyssal Blood Gem (Triangle, +21.5% ATK, and Im guessing a random positive and a random curse, mine is Rally+2.8% and Stamina Cost+3.3%)

You can get enough chunks for a +9 weapon before Shadows if you get all the ones in Cainhurst, Frontier, Woods and Hunter's Nightmare. If you're game as well, going through Research Hall and Hamlet gets you enough for a second +9 along with the blood rock.

An Abyssal is the highest tier of gem available, so getting an Abyssal is pretty good. The Stamina curse is also one of the better ones, as stamina usage is pretty lax in Bloodborne. The only bad thing about your gem is that the secondary effect doesn't give you more damage

Man I wish the Holy Moonlight Sword was better.

Its the best looking iteration of the Moonlight by far, it looks completely rad and its fun to use, but mechanically I find it pretty lacking as an Arcanist. You can basically only R1 that shit or use up bullets left and right.

I get better straight melee damage out of my tentacles, and I get a better bang for my bullets out of my tools.
