Pick one plane or a couple of planes and stick to them. I own every not-a-trainer module in DCS, but I only fly like three or four regularly (and two of them are so simple, systems-wise, that I can have them in the air in like three minutes anyway). I'll kinda just cycle in and out modules as I feel like it, but I keep a few I'm competent in.

Also I mean for real most of the planes are simple enough that you can blunder your way through a cold start and remember how to work shit pretty quickly.

this is my first rally game so its pretty fackin difficult for me still. i found the tutorials to be pretty helpful, especially the ones on weight transfer and throttle management. but all in all, the final protip is ... just stay on the road bro. be urself bro. but no really, go slowly until you learn the track. the trick is to get as few penalties as you can by driving conservatively until you learn the car and the track which really defeats the purpose of rally, but whatever senpai.

better is a relative term. some people prefer to use a gui instead of a command line. i was just pointing out that it was not hard to search something and copy and paste it to get the desired results. further more you don't have to use the command line for everything as there is a gui front end for most commands. just as the windows webm convert tool is a gui front end for ffmpeg. if you open a CMD window next to the windows ffmpeg EXE you can run the exact command and get the same results
