Thieves Guild is pretty non-combat focused and you could just roam around cities stealing stuff and breaking into places. There are even sets built around making sneaking cost less stamina, no longer reduce your movement speed and helping with your detection radius.

Well it has better PvE group content than BDO that's for sure, PvP is not really my forte so I can't comment on that.

The cash shop in ESO is also a joke in a good way, its purely cosmetic and the few things that are "timesavers" for things like upgrading your mount daily aren't worth the cost vs the time/cost it takes to just do them normally.

I was incredibly disappointed with the heist system. For all the workup around it, I was expecting something like Thief like stealth gameplay and instead we ended up with basket hopping and telepathic all seeing guards with magical fuck lanterns.

>No knockout tools or body dragging
>Loot is the same pickpocket trash we've been seeing for years

I agree with most of your points about the thieves guild, they could've done so many more things that would've made it more interesting. I would have liked distraction devices myself. Though something I've learned is that if you use agony on guards in the dark brotherhood it disables their detection light and you can kill them before they increase the alert counter. Not sure if it works for the TG guards.

The final boss fight for the Dark Brotherhood was my favourite of all the single player bosses in the game though. Really cool.

General advice:

>skills level up whenever you gain experience with them on your active skill bar, if you're trying to level a skill in particular make sure it's on the active skill bar when turning in a quest

I hardly pvp, and I'm irritated that the changes, which were obviously made with pvp in mind, is going to affect my pve tanking and skills. When the shit hit the fan, and I could pop magma armor to not only decrease all incoming damage to 3% while also giving my resources a nice heal, and the ability lasts just long enough to rez somebody to try and salvage a hard mode boss gone bad, it was very useful. And the fact that magma armor has a hefty ultimate cost and I can't spam it, it had to be made as a tactical choice.

Look at the undaunted passives. When the undaunted mettle (pretty sure that's the one) passive is maxed, you get 2% health, magicka, and stamina for each type of armor that you have equipped. So, if you are wearing light armor on your body, a medium shoulders, and a heavy helm, then you have all 3 weight classes equipped, so 6% more resources. Every little bit helps.

DK had some passives that made it possible to regain resources when they used an ultimate. This is being nerfed to fuck. They also had an ability that when used would give a small damage shield and give mending, so heals would heal you for more. That was changed, so the mending effect ends when the shield is broken, which in a dungeon will be one attack, so why even waste the magicka casting it. All stamina skills across the board got a 5% increase in cost, and other skills got even higher increases. Meanwhile, the champ point abilities to reduce resource costs are getting removed, and the resource passives on light/medium/heavy armor are being changed, with heavy armor getting a 42%. Other champ skill lines that let you increase your physical and magicka resists are reduced from 25% (with 100 points in the tree, a huge amount of your possible total) to 15%.

DK already had some of the worst sustain in the game, and this is only going to make it harder. My magdk already has a hard time getting into vet trials, pretty much I get in if another sorc can't make it. After this, there will be no need for me at all. It's kind of telling that an almost optimally geared magdk can't compete with DPS and sustain vs. a non-trial geared sorc. Vet trials will eventually be two sorc/warden tanks, two sorc healers, eight sorc DPS.

And I get that since magdk are lots of aoe, they have a higher magicka cost. But after the nerf last patch (the more targets in an aoe, each it does less damage to each target) fucked that all up. And now the change to caltrops to stack from .Ultiple players. The new meta will be the full service just throwing down caltrops in piles. It's like there is no rhyme or reason. Only thing I can think of is that they want to make sustain an issue again and reduce people just going all out DPS to make it easier for scaling new content. But if that's the point, then why not do anything about sorcs, who have the least issues with sustain, both stam and mag, and have gotten buffs every patch?

Unfortunately microsoft considers a new motherboard a new computer. If you are running an OEM copy of windows you may have to call microsoft and get a new key. Generally they will give you one if you explain you just had to replace the motherboard. You may need to reinstall windows or it might be if you replace the motherboard with an identical one everything will work out, i dont know. You shouldnt have to format the drive though so eso should still be there. But it would always be a good idea to backup your stuff. You can get an external drive for like $20, id heavily recommend backing everything up like that anyway.

ESO actually keeps all its install files local. If you uninstall eso and go to reinstall it you dont have to redownload anything, unless you have deleted that. This is a hassle if you are tight on harddrive space but it does mean reinstalling eso isnt a big problem. Finding those files and backing them up to an external drive could, at the very least, give you a way to not have to redownload eso.

I dont really know a whole lot about diagnosing motherboard issues since ive only ever had the one. Maybe /g/ could help you.

Is there an addon that tells me if I have a recipe learned that requires x ingedient for example I loot a container that has honey in it and while looking at the honey in the container it tells me that i have for example 2 recipes learned that need honey to make?

Do sorcs need a nerf? If so, how do we nerf them?

Probably never or it'd be worth a large amount of crowns. The investment that goes into each character would definitely work towards them selling a Class Change item though, but with people flipping after every patch it'd probably be shitty for the playerbase overall.

looks like your gpu is clocked too high. go into msi afterburner and reduce the clocks. a bug might have caused your gpu to boost itself past it's regular boost clock. i had a sort of similar issue with my old gpu.

The nerfs are part of the PTS notes for Morrowind so its nothing concrete yet.

If you were playing before One Tamriel then leveling is much more open now, you can do zones in any order you'd like and hop around if you want. You don't have to do the Main Quest but Coldharbour is a pretty good zone for XP and the Main Quest offers skill points along the way.

You just missed 2 double xp events sadly.

check out this thread. it seems that it's not a totally uncommon issue. just test out another pcie slot or maybe try another power supply (assuming it can power your gpu with the 12v rail).

relax. it's nothing major. it's most likely looking like either a gpu or psu problem which can be simple to test. take your gpu round to a friends/neighbors house and see if it works on his computer. if it does then it's most likely the psu at fault since from the sounds of it you have a prebuilt pc. you can get a decent psu from like corsair for $30-40.
