So I've got a bit of an issue with a o3ds. I try to use udsploit and I can never tell if it's fully installed or not as it stops putting up text after a few seconds. Pressing start returns me to the homebrew menu, but trying to activate safehax gives me a pm init error. Anyone know what to do? The system's on 9.2.0-20 if that helps?

I've recently bought Skate 3 off of eBay for my 4.80 DEX PS3 Slim, but it never gets past 98% in the game data installation (This also happens with Skate 2).

I softmodded my Wii months ago. Today I noticed two VC N64 have problems:
Smash Bros (stuttering/slow down issue) and Majoras Mask (doesn't boot). I know those are IOS issues. I installed the wads on the real NAND and now Majoras Mask works too but has the same stutter just like Smash Bros still has. I tried NTSC and PAL versions of the game, I tried forcing NTSC or NTSC480p, I tried free the wads, all with the same results (I have a pal wii, force ntsc works for all my other n64 wads).
What could be the problem? Bad dumps of the wads? A IOS problem? A Nand problem?
I'm using usb loader gx latest version with nintendon't and GXEmunand.. I have cIOS 249 base 56 v10 beta53-alt and
cIOS 250 base 57 v10 beta52. IOS loader is 249 game ios is 249---but for n64 the game ios only works with 250. when i install the wads on the real nand i use wad manager 1.7 with ios 249. Should I maybe try to install them with SHowmiiwads?

Just got an external hard drive.
I'm thinking of making SD card backups with some games on them to it, and put a .txt file saying what's in the backup.
Then deleting the current SD card contents and installing different games onto it and backing those up with another .txt file listing the new games.
After I decide I want to go back to the old games, I delete the current SD card contents and copy the old games from the first backup over.
Is this viable for more games? Just switching SD card contents, or is the 3ds so picky that it won't work?

Dude, launch it then let it do its thing, it will then boot you out to NTR. NTR doesn't change the actual look or anything, it runs over top. Try pressing X+Y on the home screen and it will display a menu, that's how you know its running.

Most of the existing links in ancient times (pspiso forums and such) where megaupload, rapidshare and mediafire links which most of them are dead, so this is the last site that I know of that reliably host converted PS1 games into the PSP format.

Many sites still have PSP isos but I don't know others that have PS1 PBPs and in such great quantity.

This I'm not sure of, but pretty sure saves can be exported and saved with jksm (?) Once the saves are unencrypted and backed up, you would be able to import them again, however you may need to rediwnliad your games ( ensuring same region ) from free store. 4. format SD card ( or new SD card )

Run the guide from the beginning, BUT, the section telling you to downgreade, skip the actual downgrade, and pick up and continue the guide from the point you are back at 9.2..

( Your basically skipping only the actual downgrade steps, but running through the guide, from begining to end, minus that part )

Once complete, TRY, dragging your game folder back, see if it recognises, if so, import saves, if not, redownload games, then import saves.

The best thing about the Emuparadise ones is that all have the same standard formatting regarding background and cover (unlike if you downloaded from different sources which would make it non standard because everyone converted them differently) and also they use the real disc game ID (e.g. SLUSXXXXX) so that if you take the save to a Vita or even a PS3 it will work in the official game if any.


Some PS1 games will lack sound for the tracks that are formatted in CDDA (for example, Twisted Metal 4 has all sounds working in 6.61 except for the soundtrack, it has been like that almost since 3.x), but then you can use the prx plugin CDDA Enabler to make it work.

Some games have their soundtrack in CDDA, some I encountered before seeing the plugin were Twisted Metal 4, Need For Speed 3, Moto Racer 1/2, etc.

I just updated Luma to the latest hourly and when I rebooted, I think my luma configuration reset. I could've sworn stuff like Clock+L2 were ticked, but now I'm not so sure.

Because that's not how you get rid of it. You have to go through something like FBI and delete the titles AND tickets and even then there will be traces on your account. The play log for example will always have stuff even if you deleted them and deleted it from the log itself, it'll still appear in the daily, weekly, and monthly logs.

A9LH is literally just arm9loaderhax.bin installed to the NAND along with the means to run it. v2 of the A9LH installation process (Came out months and months ago) lets you load up the system without an SD card in it at all because the files to load the CFW are installed to the NAND itself. You need the latest version on 11.4 or you'll have broken DS/DSi/GBA software if you boot your system without an SD card.

Beware of E3 Flasher clones. They look very similar to the original but they function a bit different. You can only downgrade 1 PS3 with a clone. If someone already used it then it doesn't work. That's probably why it's so damn cheap.
